You feel like a boss when driving the Escalade

I have this car and let me tell you it’s amazing. I love the look of it and how it’s so square. I guess the navigator looks nice and all but the shape of this car is just so presteen and beautiful. I preordered this car with every single package it comes with and it came to be around $150,000 with tax and all and yes it’s expensive and you could get the navigator for cheaper but this car blows my mind and when I saw it I literally fell in love.

A new Escalade is right around the corner.

Yea and the 2021 is ugly😒. I’d rather get a 2019 (best one yet) the only reason I’d get the 2021 is for super cruze. But the 2021 Yukon tho😍. Just my opinion.

@@natetarbox6660 I seen it in person. It looks great. Quality is really good to. 2021 makes the 2019 look small and cheap tbh. I like both. The 2021 Yukon is really nice also. GM full-size SUV's always been my favorite.

Buck Johnson that was stupid you could have gotten a 2015 Escalade for that amount.

The Escalade is nice but the New 2018 Navigator has really went above and beyond with their new design, I think it will be a head turner.

What a beautiful truck

Think the perfect SUV would be the Escalades body with the Navigators interior. I also love how the front lights and symbol light up on the Navi. I like front end more on Caddy, the whole body on the Caddy looks great but Navigator has better interior. t. And even though Caddy has the brand name and they've been the popular SUV for the last 20 years the new Navigator's insides are much better. The Escalade is gonna need to step it up in next two years with a new interior design to keep up with the Navigator.

Hi a couple of questions that you maybe able to answer, 1 Any idea when redesign of this car is? 2 I went through the buildup on Cadillac website and on Platinum version it only offers 2 interior colors, Black and Poo Brown, the color in the car you are showing is much better is this a lower model? 3 You say 10 speed auto transmission however they say 8 speed? Thanks for your help.

Stephen Jones That's the 2017 model you are talking about which has 8 speed trans and the brown interior The 2018 model will come with 10 speed trans and different interior colors

I don't understand the hate on the column shifter, it's gms signature, and once you get used to them they actually feel great, id rather use an actual physical shifter to put my vehicle into gears then "piano keys" amyway

The column shifter is my favorite type of shifter.

Beauitiiful ;0 , Maple Sugar/with jet accents interior is nice , truly the option i would get

I feel like the escalade is for wealthy people who want a truck but at the same time wants something that can haul family/friends comfortably. I kinda like the column shifter for that reason. On the other hand the people who want pure luxury and tech opt for the range rover.

I live in Columbus Ohio 500k can barely get u a house in the subberbs let alone 100k

i do like the appearance of the 2018 escalade however, for the price the 2018 lincoln navigator seems to be the better choice.

I have a 2010 Escalade, who designed this crap, especially the extra interior buttons, someone with OCd? My Lord! Too big a price tag anymore, but Thank you for the excellent review, WHich button should I press next? Hahaha. And BTW, if you buy and let warrentee run out, HA! 500 clams to fix a headlight that only the dealer can fix, and anything else is way out there! My Escalade tire is hard to seal to rim so have to have re-sealed or fill tire up twice a week, a rough ride too compared to my Chevy and my wife's Chevy Tahoe. The Tahoe rides nicer and smooth compared the the escalade, just telling the truth!

Lincoln has always been behind the 8ball. it looks good on the standpoint they just updated the navigator. smh.

Yeah the new navigator looks nice, but the escalade has a presence on the road that the lincoln doesn't have.

That’s the point i don’t need a car to describe me or do anything The Lincoln doesn’t have to try it just is. The Escalade tries to hard the new navigator does it effortlessly. Was that the case last year no but Cadillac has some serious work to do. The inside of the navigator is nicer than a rover now that says something.

Looks like I'm staying with the last Gen escalade, this new one is obviously much more superior in many different aspects but just owning the last Gen is cheaper to own than this. This new one has too many parts that are too expensive to replace . I can only imagine how much the headlights cost on this thing ! Geez!

The all new navigator blows this out the water... i look forward to seeing what cadillac comes up with next..

Column shift and the producer accidentally disabled the interior lamps SMH but the look of the dashboard is awesomesauce all these other vehicles and navigator included has these touch screens that looks like tablets velcroed to the dashboard ewww

Better At-it Because the Escalade is made by GM which they own Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, & Buick. So yes this is based off both the Tahoe & Yukon

Yes, The Escalade is staying true to what an SUV is, A TRUCK. ( the U stands "utility") GM invented the SUV back in the 1940's with Suburban as a work truck. Lexus, BMW etc, now even Porsche (an once almost exclusive "sports car" brand) have jumped on the "bandwagon" SUV craze that the Ford Explorer started in the 1990's.There is nothing Utility about those. Most are not even recommended for towing. They are not true SUV's , they are tall cars, now known as "cross overs". Dragon Ball, I hope that you are a Female, because you don't know shit about cars/ trucks. You may have better insight on Gucci purses or something.

Great coverage of the ESV... I'm using a rental Escalade ESV at the moment... I ordered a custom Cadillac Escalade ESV platinum with a few add ons $115,000 total. GOD has REALLY Blessed me☺️😊☺️

A lot less people are going to choose an unreliable shitty sounding V6 method up, than a proven, amazing sounding, REFINED V8! Just the facts, that's why they've been selling better. Period.

Needs more horsepower than the current 420 HP. A V series, 640 HP, Cadillac Escalade ESV would suffice. Satisfied to see a 10 gear transmission upgrade. Henessy could upgrade the aforementioned entity to at least 800 HP, along with front brakes superseding modifications. Toyota's quality/integrity/engineering is superior to any manufacturer. Especially inferior GM products. Came across a 2,000 HP Cadillac Escalade ESV in PA with a dual supercharger system. Best OEM HP and capacity in the industry, though. Seats look thinly cheap. The previous generation looks better than today's.

Cheap plastic for the buttons and aluminum painted interiour trim, gear selector sounds it is goining to break, the leather around the steering wheel is wrinkled wrapped around it, large panel gaps in the interiour, engine sounds like a diesel and this costs 100.000 dollars????? Buy a Mercedes-Benz, then you buy quality and style. Video was done very nicely.

The lincoln navigator is better.

Lincoln Navigator looks a little more modern and luxurious ,interior and exterior than the Escalade and also has more luxuries available for not that much.

When it's a family car, a teen will drive it. Our teen learned to drive in our Escalade ESV.....it's just a car, albeit a pricey one. I would have loved to have the teen driver mode.

Eh, just like the GM trucks, this looks outdated when compared to vehicles like the Lincoln Navigator. That new Navigator is one beautiful looking SUV. My supervisor at work leased a 2016 Escalade and it’s already been back to the dealership 3 times for transmission work. :/
