That thing is sweet. It's got ARB lockers front and rear, dual air compressors in the cargo area, baja lights that actually pivot up and down. Very clean build, shame he fell into that tree before anyone caught it.

You are killin me! @ 42:15 Side loading that shackle, as well as no cable weight on the wire rope in case it snaps. I realize in that situation there was not much pull needed to get the jeep off the tree but never the less be careful.

The U.O.A. Group is usually quite good about safety, compared to some of the hodgepodge groups I've been where everyone is just all over. We keep bystanders out of the line of fire and take things slow and carefully. For the situation we were it, it was about the only part of the Jeep would could really hook to, and as you mentioned previously, it was only used to nudge the vehicle off the tree so line tension was low. I also run synthetic line for added safety as well in case of any time of failure. Curiously, how would you have hooked to the Jeep for a better approach?

Don't get me wrong, I probably would have done the same. Like I said doesn't look like you needed a whole lot of pull to get the jeep off the tree. If he had the trailer hitch to plug into the receiver that might have been a little better of an attach point. I didn't realize that was a synthetic rope being used. It was mostly the lack of a wire rope weight, ( when I thought it was wire rope.) I'm a crane mechanic so I always have to squawk at side loading a shackle even though it has to be done from time to time. Great video, by the way. It's hard to find good off road vids without annoying music! Out of curiosity it looked like it might have buckled the bumper during that pull... Or is that an optical illusion?? Or previous damage?

No worries, I do like to hear people's concerns. The bumper does look a little smashed, but I have a feeling it was there previously.

Haven't really needed it. I'm pretty happy with my rear set-up as it flexes great and rides nice enough. It is quite the process though.

Is the camera on some sort of dampened gimbal? I'd love to know what you're using if so. This would solve a problem I have.

I don't want to talk smack, but he didn't seem comfortable in his rig. I need to get mine together, and maybe get my son and I to head down that way... so you guys can talk smack about me (it's been ages since I've been offroad).
