Idk if this will help or not, but I took mine to the shop today and my catalytic convert gasket was cracked. Midis was tryna tell me I Needed it replaced which was $1,8k so I went to a muffler shop and got a second opinion and the dude welded it back for only $60 bucks and took less than a hr. And that noise is gone !

Mine was doing the same thing ...when i accelerated while driving you could hear the same sound ....it was my catalytic converter...hope this helps

Mine does the same thing. It wasn’t this loud when I bought it. It’s starting to small like gas through the vents also.

Just had this issue repaired on my 2017 Impala. It was a cracked catalytic converter. Chose the cheaper option of welding the crack instead of buying a new one. Car is quiet and runs smoother.

That’s a leaking engine header noise .. it might need some welding to be fixed ..
