Ryan, How do I re-calibrate the on-board computer so the "brake system" and "Parking Brake" lights are off? My 2017 CR-V has the "parking brake" light on and beeps when I drive. The brake is actually not on. If I remove fuse 34 the beeping goes away but the power steering is not working. What was the meter on the driver side floor mat for? Thanks

What is the name of that tool you used to put back the piston in?

on other videos for CRV rear brake replacement they always retract the motor back by removing the motor housing and manually winding back by hand before moving the piston back with the tool, so I am confused, surely doing this way will put pressure on the motor possibly breaking it, is it necessary to wind the motor back before using the retracting tool then? I cannot find the correct Honda procedure for this online

You need to retract the motor first and the groove on the piston need to be aline whit the pine on the pad they need to be a the same spot He was way to out

Before you start the job make sure it’s off. Then yes you retract the caliper with the tool just enough so you can fit the new pads. The one i did reset itself automatically after I turned it on and took it for s test drive. Just don’t forget to push the petal down until you get pressure again

note always when changing the brake pads of any car it is mandatory to properly clean all the brake calipers otherwise in the near future you will have to change all the parts

Bro u don't grece the pad like this, this way grece can rub the rotors . Just saying
