Can confirm. VW Dealership fixed this fuel line rattle.

My 2019 gli does this too.

It's the fuel lines.

Hells balls!, never thought mk7's would have this long standing design flaw.....I have the fuel line rattle on my 2010 Mk6 Golf, Golf Mk5's had it and now mk7's - when will VW put some bloody foam in there to stop this rattle. They have had 12 years and countless TSB's to fix this design flaw.

I just bought a 2020 GTI. Has this as well...To those who say VW fixed this issue at the factory are wrong.

Did you notice a vibration through the floor when this was happening?

Can this cause further problems or is it only a vibrating problem? Thank you!

Not sure - probably best to talk to a VW tech at your local dealership. If I were to guess, id say probably not going to cause any further problems/damage. That said if its the same spot rubbing/vibrating against something it could eventually create a weak spot/failure.

@@cameronbajt4 thanks a lot for the answer. Just took my 2.0 tsi VW Arteon to the dealer today as it is in warranty and the car is booked for inspection next week. Hope all goes well

Bring it to you're local VW dealership. This is a common issue. Fuel line rattle.

Will they also repair my golf 5? It rattles like crazy at 12-1300 rpm. My mum's golf 6 plus also rattles at idle.
