Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This car in this exact same color is on my list when I buy my next car in 13 months or so. I hear good things about this new 2.7 and it is a bargain as $45k buy you so much stuff. The upcoming Fusion Sport is also on the list.

I actually quite like how this looks, though it does look a little fat (and as you said, the interior is wide - the Explorer has the same problem).

Our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was bought back by Chrysler a few months after we bought it. It was plagued by electrical gremlins that couldn't be sorted out. Total horror show. However, my wife and I were still somehow totally smitten with the vehicle itself. Almost got another, when a friend who also had his bought back got another and got another bad one, so we opted for the totally safe (and cargo-roomy) bet of the CR-V, which we pretty much hate to drive, but which has given us 30K trouble-free miles so far. It's a decent car, just uncomfortable seating for me on a long trip, and not fun to drive at all. I cross-shopped the Edge with the GC back then, but at the time the MPG's weren't good, the design was ancient, and as I recall, it didn't have many features available on the GC. We can't wait to be done with the lease on the CR-V and try another GC, but your review has given me something to think about. We will definitely give the new Edge a look before going back to the Jeep dealer. If it drives as nicely and is as comfortable and luxurious inside as our GC was, we might give the Ford a shot. I'm still leery of Jeep quality control. It's kind of sad, because I still own a 2002 Wrangler and it's the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Thanks for your review...

+Aaron Clow (AMC4x4) I understand, the GC is a very appealing vehicle. But as I always say- test drive, test drive, test drive. There's much to like out there, it pays to look hard.

+Aaron Clow (AMC4x4) When Fiat took over, quality went to hell. I own an edge sport and its a very nice suv, way more fun to drive than a GC.

  • @AaronClow

+Calif424 Their quality was hell before that. :) I know Driven says test drive test drive test drive, but the issue is that my wife drives the family car. I only drive on long trips. You can't generally test drive a car for two or three hours and see how it feels on your back, hips, shoulders, etc. I used to just buy Saabs because they "fit" me perfectly. I will definitely check out the Edge, but I will be very very surprised if we walk away with one instead of a GC. But we will try to keep an open mind!

The Folks at Ford designed the hell out of this car and to beautiful effect. Would pair nicely with a Fusion side by side.

I think this a a cool looking car, although my brother said (when the Edge first came out back in 2006 )that the shape of the car looked like it was on the assembly line that got backed up and it spit out a ball of metal...lol I actually like it's cousin the new Lincoln MKX I'd buy that instead. I will miss the Toyota Camry base crossover Venza but definitely not that ugly Honda Accord base Crosstour that most people love. I'd take this Edge over that any day.

How does this compare to a GMC terrain? I am a ford guy, but i can't keep up with the payments of my truck F150, due to the bad economy in Alberta,Canada and now I have to downsize. That's why I am asking?

Tom, don't forget Flex for another 3 row crossover with a Blue Oval badge. Ford markets the Explorer as an SUV. (They do that with Escape as well ).
