I have a 17 Charger RT in black exactly like this one and love it. Only thing is at night people slow down because it looks like a police car

I had a 2011 old police interceptor and I used to race people all the time after they started slowing down because it was black and white and has the spot light on it

In person the exterior is actually nice especially in black with those glossed black rims

The Dodge Charger is the best looking sedan of all time!! Hands down!

Half of this review is just talking about the SRT and Hellcat. Review the damn car you're driving.

Sorry, but I"m not liking the new exterior on the Charger at all. It just looks like a big Dodge Dart now. There was nothing wrong with the taillights on the old design, and I did not find the front end to be "cartoonish". While the interior is much nicer now,i it's not enough to offset the Dart-like exterior for me.

+242HP Completely agree. The new exterior looks like they designed it with the SRT body kit. It looks fine as scatpack, 392 or hellcat. But the R/T's and V6s look like giant darts.

I have a 17 RT and I will tell you if you drive it it's no dart!

I got my first 5.7 and put a borla atak exhaust and CAI ♥️ absolutely love it I’ll never buy anything else than Dodge from now on

Does this have a limited slip differential?

I think you did a great job on the review, one of the best I've seen (and I watch A LOT of car reviews). It was the perfect length with just the right amount of information and kept my attention the whole time. Very nice car! Another perk to the 5.7 is it takes mid grade gas vs premium which is outrageously more than regular these days (very annoying and completely unjustified!). I wonder if you could get 0-60 in under 5 secs if you put summer performance 275 width tires on the 5.7? Thanks!

+Paul and Rebecca K Probably not. traction isn't really an issue with the 5.7, it pretty much just hooks.

Dont forget to mention how the interior panels separate from the doors and console.(check the forums before buying)chrysler is aware of this issue but refuse to repair or correct it...they allow this issue to go unchecked! 750.00 per panel

77thesnake I had a 2013 Charger R/T AWD and traded it in for a 2015 Charger R/T. I don't regret it. The throttle mapping is much better from the factory on the 15s. You get Sport mode and paddle shifters available as standard on all R/T models, you get adjustable steering (normal, sport, and comfort modes), a better version of the uconnect system which has access to various apps including a Uconnect access app that let's you remotely start/stop or lock/unlock your vehicle with your phone, etc... I love the car, I love the way it handles and hugs the road, and the ride quality overall is fantastic. Couldn't hurt to test drive one.

SHiBBY927 We just bought a 2014 RT and AWD. I wanted the 2015 RT but she had to have a HEMI, [she's spoiled], and she needs AWD cause we live in the northeast and get a lot of snow. I'll keep my 12 for a while now. I don't want 2 car payments . Maybe in a couple years I'll buy 392 HEMI. I'm sure you know this but AWD is not offered on the 15's with a V8

77thesnake Yeah the only way to get an AWD 2015 Hemi is to order a police package car. Even if you do that though you're stuck with the 5 speed transmission again. It's basically a 2015 body with the 2011-2014 AWD platform.

Chris Well Chris, the thing is, I grew up on rear drive cars, so it's not a big deal for me. My wife is so used to front wheel drive, she can't handle my Charger in the snow. Even though I tell her with the traction control and ESC it's almost as good as FWD, she still had to have AWD, and it's proven to be a great choice for her. To answer your question, you have to ask yourself if you feel confident about your winter skills. If you've never driven RWD in snow it is more challenging, but it's not something you can't learn. By the way, if I wasn't such a died in the wool Mopar nut, I was looking at Mustangs, even test drove a v6, but that's as far as I went. Chevy's, forget it, never for me!

Nice drivetrain and exterior but the design of the interior dash is garbage, looks so cheap. The center control stack looks like something out of the 80's.
