Nascar sucks. More of a pain than money maker. I would rather go to Bundy Hill than M.I.S. The Canadian race fans seem to be absent lately too. Having Nascar race while kids in school was a dick move and on first day of school. Had kids pissing themselves from being on buses for hours in race traffic. At least this year it's the week before school starts.

And if sending a solar vehicle to another planet that is dusty. It should have wiper blade to clean the dust off the solar panel. Got some geniuses there in the space program.

E.V.'s could make the frame out of batteries with fuse-able links and it separates batteries to keep them all from burning if they catch fire. And less weight. Personally I want solar vehicles. A solar sailboat makes sense. Electric motorcycles with roll up solar panels would be awesome.

E.V. are fire bombs on wheels. Crash it into something and it's gonna burn for a while. Most firefighters don't have equipment to fight E.V. fires. I don't understand why batteries don't have fuse-able links. Instead they just burn instead of blowing fuse. Or maybe its one battery goes they all do so fuse-able links would not help. Or safety disconnect for fire fighters like new houses have. E.V. owners don't pay tax to fix the roads.

No - they're the same weight as SUVs. There's no significant difference until you get to the weight of a small truck. Damage to roads is mostly caused by water and ice.

@@1950sAmericanFather yes but transport trucks have between 6 and 22 wheels and the surface area each tire covers is around 3 times that average car tire to reduce road damage.. as someone who has a EV even the menial task of just changing a tire can be quite difficult . and that normal car jacks hydraulic or even scissor jacks . will have difficult time if not even fail. the smallest jack you can use safely is around 5ton floor jack. as the normal 1to 2 ton jacks will fail at some point . and no one going to be carrying around a 200 lbs 5 ton floor jack as there no space to get a lighter bottle jack under the car and even getting the a 5 ton floor jack under is tough and generally you have use a smaller 1to 2 ton jack to lift the car an inch or 2 and then slide the 5 ton jack under to be able to lift the car off the ground . and why EVs come with no spare as none of the common jacks they build for ICE would support them. ( which is curious because under local highway rules it is illegal not to have a spare tire but EV's are exempt)

@skrywenko6596 right. Trucks max out at 20,000 lbs per axel. They don't really hit that with the extra axels across the load. Using the EV9 as the example we have an estimated axel weight of 2700-3000lbs. My point stands. Infrastructure can handle this weight. If we can evs because of weight it would only be logical to ban transport trucks. This is how you know it's argument is a strawman. It does not stand on its own. It does not make sense. Not even mentioning the standards in road construction vary on region, climate and who the lowest bidder for the contact was.

The lower peak torque is due to a dynamic intake runner like BMW's DISA valve. Air will take a longer path at lower RPM, and a shorter one at higher RPM.

For a company van, I used to have a Nissan NV200, and now I drive a Ram Promaster City. The Ram wins hands down: Cargo Capacity (9 cubic feet more than the NV200), practicality for cab storage, acceleration and power (I hated the CVT transmission on the NV200, and it was turtle slow), the Ram is wider (so better on the highway in high winds), and the wheels are bigger (which, to me, makes the NV200 look strange since the wheels look undersized for it's size). The only things I can think of that the NV200 does better is turning radius, and gas mileage.

Just spent 5500 bucks so the dealership could fix my 2015 F150 ecoboost with 50k miles on it. I bought it for 52000 at the same dealership. They made a mint of cash by me loyally following their maintenance plan. The pile came with extended gas tank and tow package. Good thing I never tried towing anything. Probably would have made it break down faster. Can't give it away. It taught me to never buy one of the worst trucks ever. It was specially built in Michigan (came with a cute sticker saying so). So like the dog doo doo. This piile is sitting in my yard to rot. Why at least it can't break down and gets better gas mileage and trying to get rid of it has been fruitless. I strongly suggest do not buy this model. It will cost you only grief and cash.
