Is it normal to be able to see the edge of the filter on the right side? When I went out to change mine I could see the orange part of the filter. It was last changed at the dealership 2 years ago. When I put the new one in and replaced the cover I was still able to see the edge of the filter.

It is possible that you might see a small sliver of the edge of the filter.

Do you know what the name of that hose by the rubber boot at 2:55 when you are inserting the lid back on that’s connected to the engine called? I just changed my engine air filter but the hose is no longer connected

It’s probably called a PCV BREATHER HOSE or Breather hose, or crankcase breather hose. Try to find a website that shows OEM Chrysler parts for sale, put your VIN in there and try to use the parts diagram to find the actual hose.

Hey quick question. Does it mean is my box not on right if I can see a bit of orange through the teeth. And also my gas mileage dropped from 26 to 19 miles per gallon. Does this mean my air filter isn’t on right?

It’s okay to see some Orange through the teeth. Air filter alone won’t cut mpg that far. How are you measuring mpg? Did you reset your average mpg in the cluster after changing the filter? If so you need more drive time for the car to learn the long term average. To know your exact mpg per tank you need to fill the car to “Full” zero out trip odometer and then run the fuel down a ways. Next time you fill up use the gallons it takes to fill and the miles gone since last time you filled to find an exact mpg rating for that tank of fuel.
