    What did you do with the DEF line...do you have to plug it (to prevent leaks) or does nothing flow from it once all the other sensors are removed and applying the DFP delete tune?

    For now the line and tank are still there but not operational since all we did was disconnect the sensors. Those are just zip tied out of the way.

    At 3:34 over in box ....the little gray temperature switch that was on the old line did you just leave it on hooked when you put the bypass on or can you just cook into the top of that tee was already there existing

    the GOAT No, I disconnected it. You’ll have to completely disconnect all of the sensors on anything touching the EGR. I don’t recall having to reconnect any sensors with this delete if that’s what you’re asking. I think that hose is worthless after you splice the two smaller hoses together. Hope that answered your question.

    hackatak hackatak Man, I found a great deal on Amazon for a Stage 1 Cold Air Intake made by Spectre Performance. It’s exactly like K&N - may even be the same product under a different label. It fit my 350 perfectly.

  • @keoder

    @keoder

    3 жыл бұрын

    I don’t remember a hard line in the back of the EGR. I remember them running across the front and top. You should have already removed all of the hard lines when you use the bypass tube off the radiator. All the coolant lines just go into the EGR so if your taking that out, you just reroute the coolant flow.

    Thanks. I couldn’t remove the hard line hose that runs to the lower radiator, so that I could replace it with the rubber hose without taking it off. I tried but wasn’t successful.

    Any hose connected to the EGR is going to have to be removed. You’ll have to reroute a few hoses but with the kit and instructions, you can handle it.

    Do you get any check engine lights after loading the tune and removing all the emissions garbage? In other words will the truck pass emissions in a communist state like MA? Here they don’t do an actual smoke check only look for engine codes and OBD readiness. Thanks great job.
