Cool video.didnt realize the diff has a drain plug...that great...alot easier.

So I’m stuck on figuring out if I need to add a limited slip additive to my fluid. Like you said the owners manual doesn’t state anything but I have a RPO code in the glove box that showes G80 for the rear axle and I wonder if you could help me figure that out so I can change the fluid

There is no definite answer tbh. Some people add it and some don’t

@@DoingDaveStuff well I lifted the truck up and put it in drive and both wheels started spinning the same direction so that might change. Idk if your open diff does that at all. Let me know if you end up messing with that
