One small thing that would help, and maybe you did this, is to get the transmission up to operating temperature before you drain it. That way any sediment or other cooties would be in suspension and drain out with the oil.

Did you switch fron a gallon jug to a quart jug at the end?maybe it just looked that way from the camera angle...i gotta change mine soon...i have ac delco full synthetuc dexron 6 here at home i keep for the wifes nox....and mobil 1 5w20 too.

Good eye. My pump I was using broke and had to switch to a smaller pump

I thought the maual says every 45,000 miles?...i like 25,000 to 30,000 better though.
