The way Richard is so calm and reassuring as he shows you around is refreshing. This may not be the most expensive boat in the world but you can see it works so well in aspects. I think a simple but well thought out design will always be the most rewarding. Very nicely done.

  • @miksbc

Range is pretty straight forward once you understand chart. It has 2400 NM range but at 6 to 7 knots deepening on hull cleanliness. He is correct in that at 10+ knots with generator running is about 10 USG/hr. Easier said, one nautical mile per gallon. Range drops to about 550 NM at 15ishkts and drops down to 450 NM by the time you are pushing over 20 knots. As soon as you exit displacement mode, it behaves like any other planing hull. That is except for the fact you can punch thru some really tough seas at high speed with that fine entry. It likes it........a lot.

Lovely boat, however to me seems designed more for enjoying the passage than living aboard for long stretches; the tiny salon (only sitting space is the dinette), master cabin is a fairly tight V-berth not much better than many smaller sailboats. Just seems to be a tight boat for having a 68 foot length, but as Richard suggests the best place will be the captain's seat on a voyage...

Yeh, but the eskimo would sell it back to him as water for double the price. This guy is a fool, he's trying to sell a weekend vessel as a round the world expeditioner!

Although the name "Eskimo" was commonly used in Alaska to refer to Inuit and Yupik people of the world, this usage is now considered unacceptable by many or even most Alaska Natives, largely since it is a colonial name imposed by non-Indigenous people. Hehehe

@@airbear9445 What?!? Are you okay? Or did you have a stroke maybe? Yes, you did put some real, and some made up words, in random order, but it makes no sense!! What are you trying to say to op's comments about wood? Are you trying to say it's been a long time since you had wood? I would believe that.

Fmart Mart and what was wrong with 1984?? Both an Orwell classic AND a great era to be a teenager in haha. This ship really makes me feel moist but I am as likely to own one as to bang Kate Middleton.

@mike force 1984 is fiction. Just like you owning this boat. Better to just admire the low class of the people who can afford it.

@mike force You're dumb because you can't spell or read. You haven't read anything you're spouting. It's bullshit. Does your mom know you're arguing with grown-ups? She probably needs to stop feeding your fat ass and turn off the video games so you can achieve something in life. Or, have a life for that matter. I'll dismiss myself when I damn well feel like it, Son. Now go wash the dishes.

Your right, that is small enough to do the American loop, and get under the fixed bridge of Chicago, and could fit under the French water ways, you weren't lying when you said this could go anywhere. Points for honesty.
