In my days as a professional skipper I've had charge of larger yachts, faster yachts and what passes today as more 'stylish' yachts.. but this to me would be my personal dream yacht. Timeless elegance, practical, seaworthy, a faultless pedigree, a true seaman's yacht, I wouldn't even need a crew.

Yes, very true so. If you have a small family and like to cruise without the regular problems of crew and related hickups, this is the one that would fulfill all your need.

A truly spectacular classic Feadship, with a first class rebuild by Feadship. It does not get much better than this. The topper without a doubt are those Gardiner engines! I would have this in a minute. Well done and well presented.

Really lovely yacht. I remember the first yacht I went across the Atlantic with had a pair of Gardner 8L3B engines. Made for a very relaxed crossing, they were far quieter than the engine room ventilation was.

What a beautiful yacht. The attention to detail in the restoration is obvious. I’m not a qualified buyer but I’m do have a question. I think you said she has a range of 2000 nautical miles. My question is what is her cruising speed. If you mentioned that in your presentation then I apologize for missing it. I was probably lost in the visual part of the presentation.

Don't awaken me. I'm having a dream that God himself built me the yacht of my dreams. The ladder that leads up to the sundeck is art I'd be afraid to step on. The woodwork on this beautiful vessel is alive, with a burning warmth that looks natural. Many of the yacht videos on KZread show woods that have been polished to the point that they look like plastic. Having been the chief on boats, my favorite feature is the window that shows off the engine room below (and what an engine room she is. The head that's aft of the master suite leaves me speechless What a remarkably beautiful vessel. Thanks

Beautiful boat, great Video! :) I have two questions: The first one ist directly from the clip: Is it econimicaly viable to own a yacht as a business and not for private use? The second one has nothing to do withe the clip: Between one and three years ago I saw a video about an older superyacht that has a large promenade deck, I think it was on this channel, but I'm really not sure :/ Do you know what yacht this could have been? Thanks a lot! Both for answers and the videos you are putting out!

I would like to convince you to consider the benefit of yachts built stem to stern academic keeling design. That is a yacht that is deepest point in the bow and the shallow stern academic keeling design. The other aspect is Edison generator and dynamos power plants to power the yachts without fuel or pollution. An edison generator is easily built from an old car generator. The Tesla magnets binding the generator are chiseled off and inverters can be added to gain house current AC voltage. Then you have unlimited electric power for unlimited range electric motoring with screw pump jets and unlimited RO water and unlimited hot water. If you have upright sailing with world-class sailing speed. The luxury qualities are dwarfed by the modern and academic technology.

Looks like there's a passge from the main cabin to the crew area via the "wardrobe"... I like that. But I'd far rather have Teak decks than all that carpet. I wonder what's under the carpet? Love the Salon/Engine room view....possibly unique among Yachts. If possible I'd extend that brilliant idea a bit more. Gardener's engines are a work of art.... _form following function_ to provide visual perfection. Enter any Marina anywhere in the world and all eyes will be locked on you... the 40 and 50 meter yachts shamed by the perfection of their elder sister. So better not screw it up. Dress for Dinner....Absolutely! Revamp the "Sun Deck" to a proper *Boat Deck* with 4 Davits to launch a diesel RIB on one side and a 22 foot sailing Dingy (small diesel inboard) on the other. Round South America where the problems of the Northern Hemisphere don't exist amd visit every port on the way. My idea of Heaven on earth.

  • @ianscott3180

If you look at the video from the stern you can see the paraselle jutting out. This will extend to the dock. The stern rail will open to allow access to the paraselle. It is quite common on canoe stern yachts. Start watching at about 1min 25sec and you will see it. I hope this helps. She sure is a wonderful yacht.
