@@73macrino Thank you for answering. Yes, I still own it after 9 years and I'm happy with it. In 2022 I modified it a bit. The original color of my HD was Hard Candy Quicksilver Flakes and I turned to Aston Martin Buckinghamshire Green, I shortened the fender and put the micro lights from Kellermann Germany. New videos on my channel about the 72 are coming soon in March/April. ✌🏼️

I had no idea this bike existed until I saw one last Friday at the Rock Store. I though it was a lot older (possibly and AMF) than it really was. Ive had my share of vintage Sportsters (2 XLCRS) and not being a mechanic I am thru with those. I am trying to find a red 72 right now. Great video. Thanks

This review helped me in buying my 72. That purple is impossible to find.

The paintjobs on the 72s is just stunning. The purple in this case goes so well with the chrome. The sound of the V&H pipes is phenomenal of course. Too bad it’s near impossible to get hold of a 72 in the UK. I have an Iron 883 which I am modifying very similarly to the 72, so ape bars and the 21” front wheel for example. I’ll get a little of that 72 experience at least. Just a question. Is the front fender the exact same fender you find on a stock Iron 883?

man if i ever had to own a hd , it would be this gem.

This Sportster is the little brother to my 2014 Softail Deluxe, also in Voodoo Purple flake.

God damn that bike is sexy. The 72 remains one of my favourite HD’s ever. The purple flake is just icing… video doesn’t do it justice.

Deka makes the batteries for Harley in Fleetwood, Pa. There actually about 30 minutes away from where Yuasa makes there batteries. I think they are both good brands.

Maybe the best looking. As a bike it's got a few flaws functionally speaking. Like the super small tank and extra thin front wheel.

@@thtigmif change the tank to a bigger 3.3 tank, and put on a fatter shorter tire then you don't have the maybe best looking... anymore.

2000 miles when it come to a Harley Davidson is not even a dent. A well Maintenanced Harley can reach 100,000 miles easy.

Careful you almost lost the Yuasa sponsorship. Lol. I think the Sportster 72 is the best Sportster they ever made. Unfortunately I hate the fact that they dropped the 72 but yet continue to make the 48. Ugh. One of these days I'll find a 72 with the right yellowish lime paint job that I like

Have you watched our channel or just the fake news? We are at war with bike thieves. Over 500 motorcycles were stolen in a 25 mile radius of the museum in the last 4 years alone! By armed thieves who run a gun theft ring also. Many of my employees , friends and associates are licensed for open carry at the museum and encouraged to bring there guns to work. We don't show the guns on the channel because of censorship.

I made a finding ... because it appears in the video ... after all I do not know what is happening in America..but in Europe the same happens with motorcycle thieves..it is a phenomenon that will never change ... but what you mention has nothing to do with what appears in a video that is posted on KZread
