I have a 98 1200S, and I love it. It was not very well taken care of when I bought it. So I didn't feel bad about modifying or with aftermarket parts. But I saw a 2000 1200S for sale in northern Minnesota and it was totally mint in bone stock condition. The guy was only asking $3,500. These are phenomenal bikes for a very good price. Wish I could've bought that one for that price.

Own a 2000 1200s dual plug heads in black. With 4000 miles. 1250 kit s&s carb Andrew's cams. Awsome bike love it.

The ride height looks good and not lowered.....much better look. Dual Disc and Alloy rims and a great color.

Had two of those back in the day. Both pre 2000 models. Cool bikes.

Nice looking, and in stunning condition Harley. Original owner definitely knew how to take care of it, extremely well. Love that bluish/green color. This is my first time seeing that color.

My wife WON a 2003 anniversary edition 1200S with 8k miles last weekend at the motorcycle rally we attended. It pays to pre register and actually go ride at a rally when the weather is expected to rain for 4 days...LOL. Yeah we got wet, Yeah it wasnt the best weather. BUT our chances went way up because you have to be present get your ticket in the hopper and also have to be present to win!! So we were rewarded with our first harley for riding in less than ideal conditions on our 02 VTX 1800C!! We have to go pick it up Saturday and I cant tell ya how excited we are. Its in good condition from what we could tell, and not a lot of accessories added. I know its gonna need fluids and tire change right off the bat. Tires are over 10 years old. Small price to pay though, I aint complaining.

@@jonnymac8925 its been a good bike for riding locally, but not a bike Id take off on a trip on. would need a more comfortable seat at a minimum. I stll need to get new tires on it too. But I spent a few weekends detailing and cleaning it up, so overall it in real good condition

i run a stock 1998 1200S , had it for years , love it , your bike is outstanding !!! some ones going to be very happy with that .

AND did you know it's a statistical fact that more women ride Twin Cams and M8's than ride Sportsters these days? What do you think about this model being built into a XR street tracker as long as you wrap and box all the stock parts that would have to be taken off .

I have one. 2000S, not modded, 1200, What's it worth? Mine's nearly mint with 10K miles. It's Screaming Eagle modified, basic handlebars, Harley original., HD orange with checkered logo. Vance & Hines pipes. . At 73, I'm thinking I may be too old to keep riding it. Or maybe F-ing not .. I'm getting it rideable ..
