Juan’s lack of dedication to conditioning, while eating cookies and consuming tequila a week before the 2019 Olympia is pretty much self-explanatory why he placed last at the Olympia and other shows. Morel _literally_ cheated all the time.

Never been a fan of Phil health. His training is so half assed and his “gifted” genetics is what took him to first every time. Always looked up to Dorian and Ronnie for their blood and guts style training

I've always been a huge fan of Steve Kuclo, I've always found him to be the most relatable from this line up and in that era. He seems like a really laid back type of guy. Wish I could have met him during this time frame. Someone wrote how most of these guys have disappeared. But I think alot of them got smart and didn't want an early grave like Rhoden unfortunately. I'm glad to hear these guys are still above ground. Unfortunately in this age and climate of bodybuilding, retiring at about 35 is mandatory if you want to make it pass 50. The pressure is so high to produce for the sponsors and fans these guys are literally willing to die for the sport. I'm 6'2" and competed in the mid and late 90's when I was in my 20's and I knew without a huge amount of gear I wouldn't be able to make it far especially being so tall. It's alot to fill with muscle. Besides I could never afford GH back in the day so it was a losing battle and I refused to take insulin too. But it was fun while it lasted. The best I did was 3rd in the Texas Shredder and a qualification in the tall class for nationals which that alone I was happy enough to accomplish. My road ended there at least competing. But I'm in my 50s now and I'm still able to workout hard being off gear 20 years now and I still look ok for my age going by how my classmates look lol. Not trying to me mean just so many people are overweight and obese these days it's crazy.

You made a smart move getting out while you can as the rewards are few & far between for all the risks/money/resources you have to put into it .

Did Juan Morel forgot he was on a diet ? Wtf is that, even Ronnie Coleman was eating cleaner !

Three things. 1 , that was shot in 2014 and there’s no full size screen to watch it on TV? - 2 they have to put a mic on the person that is speaking otherwise it’s hard to hear what you’re saying- and 3 Bark room music when the speaking person is talking is way too loud. Therefore, it’s hard to understand what they’re saying.
