Thank you! I put too much oil in my 2018 Kia because I checked and it was very low, didn't even register, although no leaks. I kinda panicked ond overfilled, Lol. I was then told that it would damage the car, luckily before I started it. You have give me enough detail to be able to loosen the bolt and drain some out! Thank you for stating the size of wrench/socket etc, so I don't have to guess. Thank you very much! I'm walking to the nearby auto supply to get the pan and some jack stands now. Grateful for your help. 🙏🏻

Just letting you know that you're not supposed to use anti-seize on NGK spark plugs, they even made a detailed video why, and how the anti-seize can actually do more damage than good when adding to nkg spark plugs... anyways just letting you know but thank you for showing how basic and easy this is on a Kia... never owned a Kia before but seems fairly straightforward and like any other engine I've worked on

Very easy. Just don't over think and get frustrated !! The only problem is you have to deal with dirty oil and then finding somewhere to properly recycle ♻️ it, please do not pour it out somewhere on land !!

No it didn't need it. It was not dirty and was working good. You can easily blow right through it and see if it holds pressure! That's it

If you are not using anti seize and working on cold engine with 3/8 ratchet it will be abit tough to get to that half a turn. A quarter turn or alittle more will do. Don’t try and force it to that half mark if you are not using anti seize.

When lubing plugs with Anti seize, it’s recommended to retighten after driving for a while. Spark plugs will not sit to specs with anti seize.

  • @IvanRossS

Re-tighting spark plugs after driving for awhile?... what the heck are you talkin about???.. SMH.. it's your lug nuts you have to re-tight after tire replacement... and spark plug will sit just fine with or without any lubrication.. antiseize will just help to remove them much easier next time!! Torquing your spark plugs needed it so you will not overtired them!!!! Also the is crashed washer on spark plugs!!! So it does not matter if you tight your spark plugs dry or lubed.... please learn before making comments like this and confusing people!!

@@IvanRossS Brother...he's right, at least depending on the manufacturer. Direct quote from Denso website..."If you apply grease or another screw thread lubricant to the threaded part of the plug, you are liable to tighten the plug to an excessive degree, impairing the integrity of the seal, even if you apply no more than the recommended torque. For this reason, do not coat the plug with screw thread lubricant." I'll try to see what NGK says, but we certainly shouldn't make light of what a manufacturer such as Denso has to say. Try not to be defensive...all of us have something we can learn. Cheers to all!

@@IvanRossS Yep...here's from NGK website..."Anti-seize can act as a lubricant, altering torque values up to 20 percent, increasing the risk of spark plug thread breakage and/or metal shell stretch. Thread breakage can sometimes involve removing the cylinder head for repair. Metal shell stretch changes the heat rating of the spark plug and can result in serious engine damage caused by pre-ignition. Do not use anti-seize or lubricant on NGK spark plugs. It is completely unnecessary and can be detrimental."

Wrong about the break pad clip. One pad with wear clip to left and right wheels; pad with clip to the inside of the rotor. Not both pads with clips on one rotor. I've also seen videos of people removing the spark plug and coil under the fuel pump without disconnecting the fuel line.

  • @stevenweiss2148

That fuel pump sitting on top of this 2.0 kia must be the high pressure fuel pump. GDI engine. The 2019 hyundai elantra 2.0 has no GDI therefore no high pressure fuel pump that a GDI engine needs to work.

2010-2012 , 1st Gen, Kia Soul have cheap suspension. You feel everything. Had to go to smaller rim and more rubber tires to try to manage teeth-jarring poor ride. The auto transmission is " lifetime fluid, " so few owners change fluid. As result, transmissions go out at about 100-150K . The suspension was improved a bit in the 2nd Gen.
