I think Grosjean and Maldonado epitomised their woeful inconsistencies and clumsy racecraft. Both have driven amazing races by outmuscling their cars, but they just didn’t always respect their rivals by racing fairly. Kimi Raikkonen 99 times out of 100 always left room, knew when and where to place his car, knew exactly when to brake and he floored that accelerator as soon as his oversteer set-up gave him the grip he needed to leave his rival in the dust. Grosjean and Maldonado had the aggression and excitement but sadly not the intelligence and circumspection.

Look how dumb Grosjean is. He even checks if there's someone on the right but still goes there anyway

Well, most of the time nothing happens, but when it does, it can make a difference between losing a driver and saving their lifes. In this case, just barely for Fernando Alonso. I wasen't a fan of the halo either, maybe cause it was always black, not combinating the colours of the body, unless the car it self is also black, like the Mercedes W11, W12 and W14.

You might just be an idiot. Jules lost his life primarily due to the fact that the Halo did not exist at that point in time. The same shit that happened in this video, happened in 2018 and nearly took Leclerc’s head off. Verstappen and Lewis at Monza would’ve been a completely different story too. Stop trying to discredit the innovation because you think it isn’t necessary as the incidents where it is life saving, are a rare occurrence 👍

@@rorymacdonald6836 in my opinion the halo wouldn't have saved jules. It all happened because of pure incompetence of both the drivers and from f1 side. The halo probably didn't need to exist if the cars were way smaller but its just my opinion.

He’s driven some amazing races, to be fair, but he just wasn’t consistent. His driving was sometimes clumsy and he didn’t really learn from his mistakes.
