Actually, no - you don't have to love the guy. Classic telling moment: when he sings "I just put it in track mode." lol. Should have retired from selling cars years ago and why he ever switched from selling timeshares is beyond me. (singing) "I just sold you on Cancun." lol. Great video editing, though - very skilled. Too bad they couldn't edit this guy back to his first day of selling Caddy's in 1984.

I was able to test drive all the Jeep lines all day but man the SRT8 is ridiculous with it's 470HP, fastest thing I have EVER drove, very comfortable by the way too..I'd love to buy one...beautiful truck!

If this isn't THE coolest car review EVER, compared to these other "professional car reviewers", I don't know what is. Love the split screen of the Base G.C. to the SRT-8 model. Five-Stars Steve!

It's the resolution of the video production. 4K is actually the equivalent of 4 x 1080p. I've been told it's basically the industry standard used in the movies you see at the theater. We use the Scarlet model of a RED (brand) camera. Check it out on Google when you get a chance. It's pretty cool. It's also why, when you watch the video in the "original" resolution it can take a while to download and play. Thanks for watching our video..:) Steve

What an AWESOME VIDEO Steve. After watching this video I am leaning more toward getting myself the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 instead of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7 Hemi. The towing capacity drops a little over 500kg between the two but I really don't think that it will stop me buying a SRT.

Because this channel is too real for most people. Fanboys would starve here because Steve doesn't spew a bunch of numbers and doesn't have a bias towards any of the vehicles he tests. People here keep it civilized on the comment boards which is unheard of on YT.

Yes it does. Some of the finest. That's the beauty of it. But since the SRT8 has been lowered just a bit...you do lose a little ground clearance. None-the-less... it will take care of you no matter what your driving conditions are. Thanks watching our video..:) Steve

Love this review it's been awhile I've been waiting. I always like the srt model for jeep but I know it's a gas guzzeler cause I drove the 2012 charger and I could never get it to half a tank just tooooo expensive lol and I live in nyc.

I love my 07 SRT8. Only thing that sucks is the terrible gas mileage, but it's power more than makes up for that. Wish they would have kept the center exit exhaust on the 2012.

:) Hey man, sorry for the uncalled snap, I was like itchy and scratchy back then :) but we're cool now, and I totally get your point there, but still, wth, it's a awesome car, all it needs (as you pointed out) is an upgrade to the software and the glitch is taken care of. But it kinda saddens me that Chrysler is keeping it on the downlow, they oughta get cracking and get on with it! Anyway, I'm glad we both agree that we both would pick this one over a volvo any day :) You be cool / Mike

What is interesting is even though the truck was overloaded and faced such a severe manuver, blowing tires and all the jeep still doesn't tip and even stays inside the cones. So I guess that says something for American Engineering. Also notice this magazine didn't try this test with the SRT8
