I got a used 2014 Ford Focus SE in February 2015. It’s been my dependable and fun companion, and never once left me stranded or made me feel “bored” of it. 7 years in and I still get excited to drive it when I leave for work every morning.

I had a hatchback and I got scammed by some lady ..smh the car turned out to be a lemon..smh I’m looking for another 1
I bought a 2015 SE sedan in April 2017, still going strong at 93k miles. Drives beautifully and runs like new
I love my 2010 focus!! It’s my first car, bought it used when I was 16, and it’s still going strong 4 years later. Been to Arkansas and back TWICE from northern Indiana, and has been driven an hour round trip for work every day for the past 3 years. I love this damn car
I have a 2012 Ford Focus SE still runs like new original transmission and TCM module no issues with it and it has 161.439 miles on it, the key to making it last is not skipping maintenance and not waiting until the oil change light comes on and changing the transmission fluid every 6000 miles and when taking off from a stop don’t baby it or feather foot the Accelerator not saying to do a burn out just drive it a little harder than a normal car and it’ll last, also make sure the Ground contacts are sanded instead of having the bolt ran through and paint underneath, I worked as a in the Service department at a Ford dealership and saved a lot of of customers a $4.500 bill by sanding the ground contact points and spraying anti rust on the ground point wasn’t supposed to let that little secret out but oh well it’s better than being dishonest and over charging customers for a new transmission or TCM module when they don’t need it which is why I quit , I’m as honest as they come and throwing the parts canon is not ok with me it’s deceitful.

Hey just bought my daughter the 2012 sel hatchback, is there a way to update the firmware to give her a digital speedometer?
I love our 2013 SE. 125k miles Once discovered the Pirelli tires which ran more or less silently, the car has been perfect.
Awwww... It's been 10 years but still running such a lovely car
Focus for life!! I love my 2016 se. ❤
Loving the older car drives!
I had a 14 hatchback with the 5 speed manual it was a great little car loved the turns
These things pull surprisingly well with the variable cam timing. Super fun daily
Absolutely love my 5 speed 2014 focus. Had it with 30k on the clock. Put 60k on it no problems. Love using e85 in it for helping with the clutch letout down low torque.
I have a 2011 focus zetec 1.6 manual sedan and the car is amazing. It has a comfortable interior and plenty of space for the passengers. I recommend this car for anyone looking for something cheaper but nice.
I love this please keep it up

Like what ?
Just got this car today!!
My brother has one of these. I seriously love the car, can't even tell you why
It's a good car, had a 2014 then a 2016. I love the way they feel on the road however as its will known the transmission is junk. Finally I bought a totaled 2016 ST at a salvage auction, did enough parking lot repairs to get it moving again and drove it 1800 miles home. In the process of completely repairing it I lightened it up almost 125 lbs. For me now I have everything I've ever wanted in a car.
I got a 2013 titanium hatch 5 speed manual with 69k miles about 3 months ago for $12k . This car is super fun to drive, gets great gas mileage on the highway.
I love my focus 💗 she will always get me right. Love her lil purrrrrr
Surprised it’s still running 😅

They have transmission problems mine don’t have reverse it does have 300,000 miles tho but still a nice car and it’s easy to do a transmission on one you can pull the trans from the bottom or the top verry easy to work on but they do drive like a 2020 car really nice I have the same year to but mines blue

Nah, I have a focus I bought new in 2008, only maintenance required was oil changes and replacing break pads, Ford ain't as bad as you think, I bought a brand new silverado in 2020, after 8k miles the thing burst in flames, and the undercarriage was completely rusted over

@@turkeyswissandcheddaronwho8203 I believe it my 2020 Chevy Silverado is having issues right now about to go back to the dealership to see what’s going on I want a ford f150 but no one will let me buy one my family always messages me saying how ford sucks and to never buy a ford or it will be a disgrace to the family but I don’t want a Chevy I’m tired of doing repairs all the time when I had a ford f150 that thing never had a issue I drove it everywhere did way better on gas to but had to sell it to buy a Chevy because my family thinks they can tell me what to do once i take it to the dealership and they take longer then a week to fix it I’m just going to sell it and go back to a f150 and just block my family and move state they better not get me a shitty rental ether because I’m soo fed up with it right now truck only has 7k miles on it my f150 had 50,000 miles and that felt like nothing on the truck
Man I’m surprised the transmission did not go out on you yet
My mom has that car and I have drived it a lot of times and I really like that car
I cant believe they stopped making it. My 2017 has amazing design but has had a few replacement parts by 100k miles
Nice Car
I think the focus it pretty good choice for everybody
This the car I want
I've bought last year an automatic 2012 titanium with 205.xxx km (120k miles) . Runs like a baby, you just have to do the transmission oil change every 2-3 year and drive carefully
This Focus is smooth! I bet models similar to this one still fetch between $9000-14,000 at dealerships, slightly less private party.

Mine would probably go for like 7k if I didn’t beat it to hell and back, now it’s got a few battle scars but it still drives beautifully
Aaawww yeah. I'll drive this over any of those new HEV's out there. Sounds like somebody took great care of this car. AND! It's like puttin on an ole shoe. :-D Great catch, man. STILL driving my 98 F-150 with 5.7L V8. Still rockin! :-D
The door locks system in this car is glitched. As soon as you open the door handle while the vehicle is locked it will unlock the vehicle thanks to how the Focus III was built
Aren’t these called the powershit transmissions?

my dad has a 2014 one with around 120,000 miles.
Is there any way to avoid transmission shuddering with DPS6
I have the same year ford focus but mine is blue it has 300,000 miles but no reverse but it’s verry easy to do a transmission on it you can pull it from the top or bottom I’m about to do mine here really soon it’s a cheap little car that’s easy to work on and drives like a 2020 car I bought mine for 800 all it needed at the time was tires and that it it had 230,000 miles when I bought it the engine is really good but not the trans by the time you put a new water pump on a Silverado I can have 5 transmissions done on one of this cars that’s how easy it is to do
2010 Kia Cerato Sedan pov drive
I have seen some 2018 models with around 40-50k miles for like 12-14k Is it worth getting in payments as an A to B car?
In Europe we have these Fords with a 1.0 liter ecoboost engine. Those engines are really bad and keep breaking no matter the milage or service that’s been done on it

I agree 💯
Ford FOcus aren't bad, good simple car for someones first vehicle
I got a question, I just bought a 2012 ford focus se sedan with 180k miles. Every time the dual clutch shifts it feels a bit rough, like its aggressive without stepping on the gas. It's enough to move my head back every time it shifts. Its a automatic not a manual.
@RRC6490

Sell it. Now. I bought a 2012 SE hatchback in 2014 with 14k miles. By 60k the transmission went out completely. Like, car wouldn’t even start anymore. It started to shift extremely rough and would slip in and out of gears on its own, especially in slow, stop and go traffic. Idk about yours since it’s got 180k miles. Maybe it’s had a new transmission put in, but I wouldn’t take the chance. Traded mine in for a Buick Verano and I love it! Never had any issues

@@RRC6490 alrighty, but also I only paid 3k for it and its in amazing condition for the interior and the exterior, im not sure I can find a better car for the same price. If it lasted this long it might be worth to keep
A working PowerShit? Say it ain't so. Really wish more manuals were sold outside of ST/RS spec, they're surprisingly nice cars without the Legomatic.

If it's a manual yes if not I'd get one of the older 01-06 models. The Trans in this car is notoriously awful
we must Ford Taurus
0:07 start up 4:06 drive 7:23 sport 11:46 park
11:16 LOL
This was my very first brand new car. I traded it in because the transmission was screwed and Ford dealer kept telling me it was operating normally. Like 2 or 3 years later Ford recalled these for the transmission
I would rather do a trans on this car then a Nissan Altima both easy to do but this car is way easier
when i was in driving school around 2016, the school i went to had a Chevy Cruze and a Ford Focus as their cars. for as bad of a product as the Cruze really is, that thing drove like a luxury car compared to the Focus they had. it was so jerky when going, the brake pedal felt clunky and not smooth to press, the steering felt awful, and the ride quality in general was just so much worse. i don't know if they just had a badly beaten Focus or what, but i never want to willingly drive one after that
I have this exact car and man it is just a load of problems. First off, it needed a new radiator and hose. Then, it started having suspension issues. So I changed the whole suspension, and now I have a messed up Rack and Pinion and a whole buttload of wiring issues. I don't recommend this car at all. I can't wait until I get a new car

Yes - I owned a 2016 Focus Titanium, and had it to the dealership at least 6 times within the first two years of ownership. I got fed up and traded it in back in 2018, but my sister also has a 2016, and I am reminded of how bad it is anytime I drive her car. My mom has a 2018 Nissan Rogue, and I can honestly say that I would take the CVT in that car ANY day over the DCT in the Focus. The only good thing was that I put a claim in under the class action lawsuit, and ended up getting a $2,000 payment from Ford.

Used to have a 2014 SE hatchback that I loved but after having it leave me stranded for the 3rd time I had to get rid of it. Out of the 2 years I owned it, the clutch packs were replaced 3 times, TCM replaced once, and numerous software updates.
