If you drove the FX50 with the S package it's night and day with bodyroll. Trade off, it's a very stiff ride but you get very little to non body roll. Fun fact ! these engines were only used in production for the FX50. You will not find it in any other nissan/INFINITI. At one point these 5.0s where used on the LMP class 3 Lemans race cars and recently retired the VK50 and are currently running the VK56 out of the Nissan Titan.

Drove both! You can find the FX50s drive a little down the list in my videos. I personally couldn't tell any difference in the actual driving experience or handling. They felt about the same to me. The engines are really cool for sure!

On my 2nd FX. The first was 2004 FX 45 and I took it on the F1 circuit in Abu Dhabi 3 months after the first race there in 2009. Just bought a FX30dS and man these cars are awesome.

I have an 09 fx50S with 268k miles on it, STILL runs strong, a blast to drive, has some features on it that are really surprising, one being the 4 wheel steering at all speeds. I've owned a LOT of vehicles, but the fx50 is DEFINITELY at the top of the list!! That side view camera comes in VERY handy when parking btw, i have 26 in wheels on mines (fit is perfect) and they help me with parking so I don't scratch them.

@@justking.4050 I've had it for a little over a year now, i said a prayer and bought it with 250k miles on it, it was priced right where i needed it to be, i honestly wish I would have known about it years ago....it was a choice between the fx50 and an srt8 jeep, the fx won because of the price.

I have a 2012 FX50S and I agree with you about the Blind Spots. I added mirrors on the side view mirrors to help. Also, I have a Front Facing Dash Cam and added a Rear View Dash Cam mounted over the stock Rear View Mirror that gives me a better rear view and improves the blind spots.

Lol, i thought it was just meeee....🙄 Those blind spots are horrible!!! I really like my fx50, but the blind spots are one of my BIGGEST issues with it!!!

I have been negotiating between 2010 Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG or an Infiniti FX50s, I choose to go with FX50s, I have a 2011 Mercedes Benz CLS63 AMG which is pretty dame expensive to maintain (but so much fun to drive) so I do not want to have another 63 AMG, I need something fun and reliable, which FX50s is cause I have 3 infinities FX45 G37 QX56 very reliable all of them.

I had a modified '10 FX35 which I sold and bought a 2017 AMG GLC43. It is definitely FAST! but man miss the Infiniti! May need to go back to a FX50 next time but hate getting a much older vehicle.!

I love how there arent even 100k views. This car is a true sleeper.

They are hard to find.

You can improve the body roll on corners by installing a front strut brace and changing the tire size to 275/65/21, which are slightly taller and wider than stock tires.

21s are way too expensive. I'd rather swap the old suspension and keep the 20s Youre easily looking $2000 for 4 of the 21s

I have a 2011 FX50S and I don’t feel the body roll especially with my GTR wheels. I placed a Tesla style screen but definitely going back to OEM

I will only buy infinity when they bring qx or fx back. I own qx70 17 , its blast to drive. I wish i would have bought v8, but now a very less chance.

It’s interesting . In China qx70 5.0 makes 431hp , 0-100km 4.6 seconds

You should review an FX45. Basically a 350z on steroids, and it's 4 doors. The exhaust on it stock is crazy 🔥

The kickdown downshift comes very late in my 2016 QX70S 5.0! Is that normal?

Absolutely! After this move, the brand went down. The FX was the best Infiniti produced in history of the brand, and one of the best SUV's ever made in general. I see the 2009's on the streets, and they look brand new. Their design is so unique, and so much better than much most 2023 models. The grilles, the stance, the headlights, they resemble a shark...and those 21" Enkei wheels are gorgeous. If Infiniti made this car today, it would sell like pancakes. Unfortunately, the market wasn't as SUV popular back then for this car to do well.

I have a 2010 FX50 S that I purchased brand new. All options except for rear DVD system. Thinking of putting it on Bring a Trailer. These cars are awesome and my only mod was deleting the resonators….sounds like an AMG C63!

These cars are held back (basically neutered). Doesn't feel like a 400hp vehicle at all. They need to be unleashed! Too damn quiet, won't shift fast or give you instant power off the line. My wife's G37 feels livelier than my FX50. I like the car though. I have a 2013 and it looks brand new inside and it's pretty darn reliable. I even installed a Borla catback on it but Borla screwed me. The muffler on the catback is no more agressive than the stock one. I will tinker with the exhaust more and then get it Uprev tuned. I think I can wake it up!

@@DMCarReviews It simply doesn’t do what you ask it to do right away. There’s a slight delay. From a dead stop I can floor it and it’s like it has to ask you if you really want all the power. Sure it can do it once it gets going but there’s that slight delay. It does that when rolling too, floor it and it doesn’t downshift instantly. I also have a Nissan Titan and if you floor that thing it will burn the tires off the wheels. All hell breaks loose but the FX50…….not too much happens. But like I said, once I get the exhaust right, secondary cats deleted and tuned, I think it will respond better.
