NIce.Same for me Sofyan.I used to be a honda and NA engines fan boy but now i converted into a VW /Audi person.I love the german built quality (all soft to the touch , the car feel like a little tank, stiff ride ,etc.) oh and their torquey turbo engines pull like fucking beasts.

At the end of your video you mentioned that the GTI has a uniqueness to it.....I agree with you, these cars do have a very unique and distinctive look to them. They stand out. That`s what I like about them. They also remind me alot of Mexico....VW is everywhere over there!

Sofyan, just so you know...you can buy the euro headlight switch for the GTI that allows you to have just the parking lights on. It also allows you to upgrade your taillights to the LED ones with the rear foglight. Nice mod, and I don't think it requires any modifications to the existing electrical system

a late model 2010 like this still runs about $20 grand. I would recommend CPO as well. If you get a 5% rate at 60 months it will be over 400 bucks, if you go 72 months it will drop under 400 but I would recommend putting at least 20% down so you don't need to buy GAP insurance but if you cant go ahead and get the GAP incase you totalled the car and you owe more money than the actual value. Either way, you will love the car and be proud to make the payment every month :)

I'm about 5'7" and you do have to sit a bit closer to the wheel to be able to push the clutch all the way to the floor from its long travel. I got used to it tho so it doesn't really bother me that much. IF you are a lot shorter than me it may be an issue tho

Awesome! F.Y.I LED tail lights are also stock on GTI's just not on the U.S. models. The R ones are tinted and the GTI's are not. R ones do look better though. Get those ASAP it makes the rear looks so much better! The R really isn't worth the extra money unless you need the AWD. You can get as much power as an R with just a Stage 1 flash for only like 600 bucks. Plus most reviewers prefer the GTI over an R.

btw, you can get parking light switch etc, it's just they don't do it for the us market, you have to get the euro switch, for parking lights, then the auto dimming mirror for the rain sensing windows and auto headlights look at your fanpage email, I also put it to your comments on here, not sure if it went thru though it's not showing up..

I know you want to keep everyday drivability but you should tune that thing. Massive torque and power gains.

I was thinking about that, I don't really need the AWD and I was thinking about getting a used Golf R next year so it would be about 30 grand or the same price as a new Focus ST fully loaded. I haven't driven a Golf R yet but I just like the exclusivity that you get with it

I believe when u turn off the traction control it will let u to rev pass the limiter cause i have a civic si and it works for me.

Looks truely like a very fun car. I seem to remember somewhere that the traction control can not be disabled on VWs (GTIs and Passats). Do you know if this the case? I would hate to have TC intrude on a dry day when I want to wring it out.

funny the two cars you have are cars i want. I have an 03 neon and im looking at fits/sonics... but the fit seems alot more reliable than the sonic. The gti is my dream car for w/e reason but ill probably get a fit first then someday buy a gti.

My roommate owns a Fit, every time I go on a drive with him he points them out... Kinda like his own version of punch buggy. I just got a 2013 GTI so needless to say I'll be driving from now on.

That GTI is awesome. I would buy one but I rather go for a DSG Trans. instead because I cannot drive a manual at all. By the way how much would custom personalized plates cost for a car.

How did you clean the tailpipes? When I clean my 2008 RDX, I always just wipe them with the wet soapy car wash mit that I use on the rest of the car but it still leaves a little bit of black on them. I'd love for them to look just like new

I value refinement with my speed, I can sacrifice some for a car that feels more expensive. The GTI and ST feel more premium than a WRX does. You get the feeling that you are driving a more expensive and upscale car. Sure, its not as fast, but you can drive the vehicle everyday and it won't irritate you as much as the tin can feeling Subaru. The noise levels are much lower, the ride is more tolerable and lastly fuel economy is much better.

Thy were already tinted when I bought the car, the previous owner did it. Just make sure you tint your windows at a professional tint shop, unless you know how to do of course lol

I do work for Ford, honestly, if I wanted a car that I knew was going to be bulletproof I would buy a Civic Si, but I want something different and if its a new car with full factory warranty I'll take my chances especially since Honda's not making anything interesting right now.

how much do you think the dealer would charge for this upgrade? When i bought the A3 back in 2009, the dealer didn't have any A3 with xenons in stock. If you want xenons, you have to order it and there was a six week waiting period lol

I agree with you. The one place that gives you a good indication as to how well a car is going to do in terms of reliability is Consumer Reports. VWs do really bad in their reliability reviews. Honda and Toyota products are the best... I don't know why other car companies don't follow suit. Toyota is the # 1 car company in the world because everyone likes a reliable product. I know reliability is huge in my book. I even rather drive an ugly car then an unreliable car.

I vote ST, The Golf is getting updated in a year or two.
