The panamera turbo is my dream car

hows the maintenance like especially for a 10 year Pana. i would love to get one. Driving a E class now for 6 years . Would love to upgrade after i rented out a Pana in Cali

My German teacher taught me to say German words pretty much as they’re written, so duppelkupplungsgetriebe (English: dual-clutch gearbox) (PDK) could be pronounced “dupple cup lung getrieber” with the “u” sound in each of the first, third and fourth syllables as in “cook”, german “ie” is pronounced “ee” and the “e” at the end is “e” as at the end of porsche ... if anyone is interested!

Currently driving the BMW F10 520i and the Porsche Panamera 3.6l is one of my shortlisted option. I’m wondering if I will lose out on some fun driving a NA compared to a turbo car.

Did you tune your 520i? I used to drive a 523i and a tuned 520i can be faster than a 523i I haven’t driven an f10 in awhile so I may not recall exactly how the f10 drives 😓 but, personally I think the Panamera is abit more fun to drive than the f10 - i feel the f10 is leaning more towards comfort whereas the Panamera has a good balance of both comfort and driving fun 👍🏻 That being said, if you’re looking for driving fun, you may have to opt for higher end variants of the Panamera because I feel that the base model 3.6 in this video may not be fast enough

Car Life Singapore thanks so much for your reply. Yes I did tune my 520, have a sports exhaust and changed the lowering springs.. really like how fun the drive is.. I have to agree that the 5 series is built more towards comfort if it’s stock.. The Panamera I’m intending to get will be a COE one and I’m also unsure about the likely maintenance cost.. heard from some Porsche owners that Porsche builds really reliable cars and it’s very affordable to maintain..

@@jasonjuliuslim your f10 sounds awesome 😁 i'm sure you'll enjoy the panamera as well if i were you, i'd probably look up car forums, or join porsche fb groups to get some advice from the actual porsche owners there. sorry i can't really advise on the reliability/maintenance bit but i agree, the sentiment is that porsche builds quality and reliable cars (like the cayenne).. but i think with any car, it's always best to manage your expectations of what to expect and ALWAYS get it checked by an independent mechanic before purchase :)

I am very surprised how big the boot is. It looks almost like a Wagon.

I recently got a german shepard and my dad is trying to find a a suitable suv or mpv. He doesnt want a asian car or wtv is there any continental suv or mpv you can do a review on so that i can show him

if you're referring to mid sized conti SUV then probably merc GLB/GLC , audi Q3/Q5, BMW X3/X4 ?
