Good Video. If you choose the other method, using inspection level hole to check tranny level, car must be level, transmission must be warm ( check after driving for 15 minutes ) & engine must be running while you check & plug inspection bolt. Peace.

Do u check the fluid with the car running?

According to manual for 2011 Kia Soul 2.0 transmission fluid capacity is 6.97 qt , 6.6 L how come there is only got 2 qt? It seems like you change only 30% of fluid.

You’d need to flush to do it all at once, but most guys do a drain & fill, drive it for a bit, then another drain and fill, twice. That should be enough to cycle out all the old fluid.

most fluid stays in torque converter this is the case with all automatic transmissions its better to the gradual drain and fill a few times to achieve result to avoid potential shock of transmission by doing complete flush at once, which is a lot more expensive because it would require partial disassembling of the tranny

@@adventureman_09 Also easy way to completely flash it disconnect out let line that goes to radiator, run engine up until air bobbles start coming out.

Ive changed my ATF and the previous one is 5Q and 1/4. The technician said that it has excess ATF so we add only 3Q and 1/2. Right now I have issue on 3rd gear and reverse jerking. Is adding more can fix this issue? Some owner has this problem and they replace ECU or solanoid or input sensor

sorry for the question more and the rest of the transmission oil you will not change? this gearbox doesn't work with just 2 liters of oil.

Open the hood and look at it brother. Only way to make sure. If you can't see the dipstick, you have to remove the air filter completely to access the hole where you pour the ATF into.

Still going strong on 2 qts?

2010 Kia soul takes SP III trans fluid. I am doing my wife's now and got Castrol Transmax ATF/CTV UNIVERSAL
