at 1:21 what kind of goggles is Takeshi Matsuda wearing? I have a Japanese swim team mate myself; he has a pair of these, but has no idea where or how he got them. Above all, who makes them? I'd like to snag a pair myself. Can anyone help?

@boojaeah no it's just that biederman had a strong finish so the record pace went way up

@boojaeah it was the suits, it compensated for when the swimmers would tire. Not to mention the last 50 split of the world record time was insanely fast, i think it was like 25 or something o_0

@polo4ever1 25.77 and yeah i agree ian thorpe would still be holding the record if it weren't for the suits

The world record has really weird splits with a ridiculous final 100.

@@verward yeah biedermann negative split the wr. better to compare a swimmer to the splits from thorpe's best time, as the overall time is only 0.01 slower and the splits are more conventional
