Dude I used the same muffler on my Slade. It was way too loud. I switched to the sport crate muffler and it's perfect.

All the 07.5-14 6.2 trucks and suv have factory 3.5" pipe

Hey Craig I had a question, I have a 2013 Escalade I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust on, I like what you did with the muffler the custom work there, I'm a creative mechanic too when it comes to saving money LOL and the price of the full Cat-Back system is off putting to me right now. My eventual goal is to go long tube headers on back but I really want to put this together piece by piece as my budget allows. I e. Muffler, downpipe, headers etc I guess what I'm asking is do you have any exhaust advice or do you have a separate video for that, thank you!

I plan to do long tube headers as well. But I plan to keep the cat so I don’t have to mess with the o2 sensors. This muffler gave me the sound I wanted, performance parts down the road will just enhance it. For me the sound had to come first (mostly because the muffler was super affordable)

@@Craignovak62 that was a great deal for the crate muffler. I found a decent stainless 3.5" dual exit axle-back that I like, I think I'm going to pair it with a Flowmaster 40 series (love the American Thunder sound). Like you said all cat back until I can get to the downpipe and headers I'll be following the build keep up the great work man 😎
