Get a under tail kit to eliminate the plate mount and signals... get flush signals.. hid headlight kit... passenger pegs get them painted to black . Two brothers short carbon fiber exhaust. Get your clutch and brake handles painted black, get that red line on the tires, got the same bike and that's how far i got to date... thinking about the steering control and power module ... finally a WRX T31 turbo with the nitrous kit.... unstoppable

the diff models are the R6S which is the calmer version of the 2 with a less aggressive sitting position and this the full R6 with all of it's awesome sexiness and road pwnage.

@shizster258 there's not a light between the headlights, its just a space between the fairing specifically for aesthetic appeal. Yamaha loves to give their bikes personality through the look fo the front fairing, for example the new '09 R1 almost looks as though its got eyes. The YZF-R series are such mean bikes, i can't wait to get one myself. Nice looking ride my friend

@Vieteran09 an 09/10 R6 rings in for about 8-9k Canadian. (new of course) Used for 5-7k depending on mileage etc.

Dude, I just bought the orange/raven 09(by far the hottest color)last week. I chose it over the other available colors for the 09 R6 which happen to be solid raven,pearl white,and yamaha team blue/white. These are the only colors the 09's come in so unless you had it painted that color; IT AINT A 2009!!! As a matter of fact it even has a different gas tank than mine so unless you changed that too,(why would you do that because the one that comes on it looks way better) I know it's not a 2009.

Im hoping on getting the 2011 Yamaha YZR-R6, around $10.5k, I have a car, but i dont have license yet... :( and im gonna get a job next year, probably at a fast food place, or something easy. Probably take around half a year to get my bike :D

@Ldgarl1 dude i have this bike and absolutely hate it for normal road riding its too stiff compared to most but its awesome on a proper smooth road/track id ride both before you decide!!

I wish i could get one... the problem is that it costs a 112% more than the actual... That's more than double the original cost... bit of a bummer really...

I ride a MOTORCYCLE and there is no modification that can be done to that "tricycle" that would make remotely competitive to my R6. You may be the envy of the crowd on that thing in Asia, but here in the USA you'd be the laughing stock of the crowd. We roll "big boy bikes" here!!!
