2009 BMW 328i Walk-around, Review, and Test Drive

Have a look at this beautiful 2009 BMW 328i in Alpine White!
"Another year, another round of subtle changes to make one of the most heralded automobiles ever made even better. For decades, the BMW 3 Series has been the benchmark in the entry-level luxury car market -- be it in sedan, coupe, convertible or wagon guise. Typically, this BMW has offered a magnificent blend of restrained luxury, top-notch build quality, just-right size, ample feature content and a ride/handling balance that other manufacturers have been unsuccessfully trying to copy for ages." @@044alord for being reliable , that’s the bmw you want . The N52 motor ! But if you are trying to make the car super fast then a 335i . And that’s not a bad price ! Make sure theirs no light on the dash or anything . I got mines for 2800 with clean title . I think I have a video of it on night time on here

@@NeedUchies if you get a e9x generation then a 328i which is a n52 motor is the most reliable motor out there in the bmw line ! It has the right amount of sensor to keep you updated and the way it looks 🔥 but if you want to make it faster in the future then a 335i in the e9x generation is the right choice to go! I have a 2010 e92 328i for about 3 years now and nothing ! If you get a used e9x just make sure you know the digital codes to things so you can fix it before anything else

Nafiz C I agree it's a good car. I have owned 4 Bimmers including the 2003 530i I drive now. I'm not a fan of the e90 series due to the bland interior and exterior. Even a tiny bit bit of the steering feel is gone compared to the e46 and e36 series. It's as if all of a sudden (back in about 2004) BMW became more concerned with market share and profit margin than keeping the driver connected to road.

I bought one (2009 328xi sedan) for the drive, smoothness, the inline 6, the materials, and the entire whole of the vehicle. I do understand what you mean tho, most folk don't realize the engineering, design, and science that goes into these cars. As for driving like tanks, they have a live sense of driving, you can feel what the car is doing by holding the wheel, unlike mercs, were you can make turns just by lifting a finger.

All issues known have been taken care of by the dealership I’m buying it from.

theres nothing wrong with anyone who buys a bmw. i was just trying to say that the cars have changed. i dont think the people who buy them has. the difference was in the past they got a car which i think was better engineered/designed to be a sports car first and luxury second and now its more like they get a nice car that happens to be a bmw. they're less differentiated from the competition for the sake of being more mainstream and selling more which is a double edged sword.

Same when shutting down, do the reverse. Press key to turn off engine, press again to turn off ignition then eject key.

Dylan Schultz Bro, unless the car has under 70k miles I would not get it at all its not going to be worth it. Here's why, firstly your insurance rates are going to be anywere from 1 thousand to 2 thousand dollars with a bmw then to add onto it bmws tend to have alot of problems when they have alot of miles (I.e. 100,000+) and those problems you have to take the car to the dealer and the parts labor and time alone will be around a 2-3 thousand in maintenance a year. Then factor in the premium gas it just may not be worth it. If your parents can help out or you can save a couple more thousand you can find a 328 with low miles (around 50-60 thousand) for around 10-12g's. Those will be a bit more reliable. Just my two cents man. Best of luck.

UpliftingMelodies What year and price? Generally man BMW's with over 100k miles aren't really worth it unless you're willing to put some money into it. Generally speaking if your going with a 328 instead of a 335i you don't have to worry about to much but still repairs will still be expensive.

Yeah, that's also true. I mean I suppose my opinion is irrelevant because I can't quite afford this car nor am I the target market. What they're doing is working for them so kudos. They've always been more status symbols than anything else. I think BMW is alienating people who have traditionally bought BMWs for these reasons and instead focused on those who pay for them--the ones who want the status. Good business for them, but in my opinion a loss in the long run.

but why do you belittle people who drive BMWs, they have the money to buy one so they can if they want to, but yeah i understand what you mean

Cars should be practical. Buy the car for what suits your needs and stop pretending. Buy what you like because it feels good and don't buy on the basis on what people will think of you. Having a mortgage payment is better than car payments.

I AGREE. German cars look like sex on wheels but these new bmws are often over engineered with a ton of unnecessary bullshit (IDrive, run flat tires, etc). Which makes no sense because these cars already drive good and look good. German cars are high quality in terms of superficial amenities (like leather and materials used) but the luxury Japanese marks like lexus have caught up in terms of fit and finish as well. So BMW is relying on brand loyalty nowadays. That said, I still love bmws lol.
