Hey Cameron, what a detailed review you've made here. Just a couple of quick questions, how tall are you and is it comfortable sitting in the rear seat? Are the head room and leg room decent for people over 6 ft?

I am 6ft tall and it's okay, but it's nothing like a midsize sedan. Two average sized adults will fit back there just fine. 3 adults and it will be quite tight. Hope this Helps Ray! -Cameron

the automatic start stop system is incredibly useful. And its automatic. Why does anyone care? In fact, I have heard drivers complain here in Germany that it doesnt work when they get lazy and and just press on the clutch and leave the car in gear while stopping at a traffic light/interesection etc.

yes the M sport package gets u either 18 or 19 inch ones, the sport line gets u 18. I own one with stock 17s and drove both the 18 sport line (my brother has it) and 19 inch loaner. Honestly, i probably would go with 18s. Reliability wise, hell its a 4 cylinder hard to f those up right? The turbo would be the only possible issue, though that's the case for any turbo motor

The hp. Rating is low as in BMW fashion. Mine dyno at 265 and I have had a Dinan stage one installed and now the car puts out 320 hp. 335 ft. Very fast and very happy with its performance. I highly recommend Dinan upgrades.

+Supra Blue first question first, the highest stage that I know of for the F30 ( 328i 12- present) is 3 1st stage is Dinantronics wire harness.2nd stage is stage 1 plus exhaust and cold air intake, stage3 is all the above plus Dinan inter cooler and software upgrade. Total cost of Stage 3 installed is around 5 K . Question # 2 the M3 is a completely different animal i.e. Engine ,chassis suspension and ECU The Dinantronics hardware is engine / car model specific. Prices are way different for each car. The parameters of each car is different. The 2016 model is the same as the 2015. Hope this helps. Also the web is dinancars.com

Beautiful car to drive but the interior is so dated I’m loving the new g20 3 series but it’s costly so In this class the c class has the best interior just doesn’t drive like the 3series

The Mercedes C class has less space in the back, not more. Less leg room and much less head room. Have you sat in the back of a c class? It's cramped.

my mom has a cla250 i have a 328i both 2016 and i can confirm that the seat of the bmw has more room than the cla. my mom drove mine and said it way more room. and i drove hers and they handle (bmw) better in the corners because of RWD on the bmw not FWD on the merc

It's because they're direct fuel injection, like the system found on the desiel engines.

The stereo in control of the entertainment equipment is garbage Sirius radio is a total waste of time as well because I’m not gonna have subscribe to that. I really miss having the controls for the radio the volume and changing stations in the left hand on the steering wheel. Also there’s no volume control down by the mouse and the knob you have to reach either on the stereo or reach up with your right hand on the steering wheel both of them are annoying. I prefer the business cd from the 2003 BMW three series wagon. it’s really annoying to have to reach up with the right hand changes station also back up cameras only work when you’re in reverse sometimes do you want to pull into a space it should automatically go into parking mode.

Leatherette seats?? What the hell is "leatherette"?

I got a 2013 328i and believe me the leatherette is much better than real leather here is why. I have loaned ones with leather, both non-sport and sport seat ones, the leatherette is much softer and more comfortable for both seats, BUT according to BMW is actually holds up better than the real thing. Moreover, it is less slippery and holds you in place better, and it doesnt smell bad or anything. It does not smell like leather maybe but the smell is pleasant for sure... no brainer, I have other options i paid for but leather you can hold that one.

yet having driven in both for a number of days (and owning the leatherette) believe me the leatherette is better. Softer, lasts better and less slippery.... save ur money and use it to get other options

Leatherette is a faux leather material. Many European automakers come standard with leatherette, and they make you pay extra for real leather.

beautifulstinex5 If you don't care about resale value and technology. BMW is better in terms of noise isolation and comfort. Civic isn't bad either But the civic has better technology, Lane watch is what's keeping me from not getting other cars. It has Android auto and carplay. Definitely buy continental tires for the civic..
