I’m sorry , I’ve must’ve missed it . What was your fix? Reflowing the chips in the cluster ?

I want to try too. what kind of liquid used for reflowing the chips?

Hi I just noticed that 4 different faults came on at once transmission hydraulic brakes and air suspension. On a 2007 rrs sc. A mechanic hooked it up said it was miss communicating with multiple systems.

What testing was performed?

So that moment you took out the fuse for the cluster, when you tried to start it and the locks clicked and hazard lights flash, this is what’s happened with mine. It also shows park brake fault and hdc not available. It’s an intermittent fault. When it does that, the car won’t start and I have to wait for the hazard lights to stop flashing and screen faults to vanish and only then will it start! When the fault is occurring, the red alarm led blinks in the dash with the ignition on. Do you think this sounds like a cluster issue or immobiliser issue?

It could be anything causing it. It needs to be diagnosed. You could have water inside the vehicle too or it could be a network issue with another module. I would have someone actually troubleshoot the car. Don't throw parts at it.

@@RobertDotterer I’ve had it diagnosed and it says lost comms with cluster and also lost comms with stereo. I’ve taken the cluster out and there’s no visible signs of any damages. I’ve been told it could be the harness to the aftermarket stereo which is probably about 10 years old. I’m literally in the car now removing the stereo to see if that changes anything.

It means to safely heat the chip and board up enough to the point the Solder remelts and any bad Solder joints.

Your telling me they called u because they needed a diag for putting air in a tire ha ha jk I like that repair “well sir your air was low”

It happens, I get called out for all kinds of things.

I have same cluster that flickers between on and totally off, lcd goes blank ect, you think this would fix that?

@@jadorno3939 Messaged a cluster repair place and he said "Mine sounds like typical Cluster failure" I was going to reflow some chips like this video but mine seems to be on alot more than off so not got round to it.

@@killerconsoles517 copy. Do your gauges stop working as well, or just lights gauge lights and lcd screen turn off?

@@jadorno3939 Sometimes everything is off inc gauges, sometimes they flick in and out of life. Sometimes just LCD off and other times they work perfect. From my research it's just faulty clocks.

@@killerconsoles517 Any solution? Got my cluster fixed by a different company and the problem persists. Sometimes It doesn't turn on either (lights turn on when I turn key but engine doesn't respond) just flashes "park" light, then I have to wait before it cranks.

I have an issue with no ignition, either sometimes no any messages and no cranks .alarm flashing

@@shaqd89 Not really, I checked with 3 landrover dealership. Funny is they couldn't figure out .either I changed my radio which is really like brain or central orders. But no at all .still love my car and finally will fund

Why not just erase the codes and see if they return?
