sounded like it had low compression in one cylinder when it was cranking.

If you do injectors or any HEUI work like stand pipes they’ll do that because they have to get air out of the HPOP and rest of the oil system

The good old VT275 powerstroke V6. It has a bit of a more pronounced growl to it than a 6 l, a 6 l sounds pretty fantastic as well.

Just picked one up for cheap in a 2007 lcf cab and chassis I'm very familiar with the 6.0's any recommendation for the egr delete? just weld plugs in there? can't find a actual delete anywhere plan on doming the arp head studs also

Me too I would buy one and Ford was going to put it in the f150 but ford killed the deal after the 6.4l with Navistar

@@olivierroy1301 stfu that's not true. I know a dude who runs a company with 30 6.0 PS and all of them are stock with 250k+ miles and have never had ANY repairs of anything at all.

@@benjaminturpin2749 I own one and everyone I speak to about it says it's not a good engine. I learned the flaws and I will repair it soon, hopefully for a while, but as I speak, mine is broken, many for sale are, and I don't see that happening with Hino and isuzu.

@@benjaminturpin2749 About the 6.0, I know it's almost the same, I drove one for work and the turbo ended up not spooling so it pulled like crap. So the 6.0 is undoubtedly a crappy engine.

They were going to put them in the f150 but with the 6.4l problems, ford cut the ties with navistar which killed the deal.

IDreamOfDragons O I believe it is because they are HEUI engine that count on a minimum of around 500 psi of high pressure engine oil at cranking speed to mechanically fire each injector, plus VT275/4.5 psd hpop is a less volume pump than the vt365/6.0psd due to the 2 less cylinders on a vt275/4.5 psd.
