It is a hard top convertible traveling in the sunny days when it was a carpool or a date on the road ahead this g6 hard top convertible is unique.

Note that he did not put the top down all of the way, which he mentions, but that's why there was that gap that you saw as he walked around it (the gap at the front portion of the trunk).

My grandparents had one of these, it lasted a very long time until they traded it for a 2013 trerain

@Curious Cars I got a question for you, I got that same '07 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible and I'm interested on finding headrests with that "Pontiac G6" logo stitched on it so I can replace mines. I did some research but couldn't find them. Do you know of a website link where I can find headrests with that logo on them? If you could provide me with a link that'll be awesome. I'll even take a headrest cover, if that's available somewhere, as long as it has the logo on it.

I got an 06 gt gtp with the 3.9 looks really good. Especially when it clean. The only problem i have with it the hood is faded alittle. But this car in the video looks nice.

Extremely late reply, Yes, a Pontiac G6 is absolutely worth getting. They are well known for being very reliable and long lasting cars. Problems will arise, but the problems are very minor. The problems I had with my 2009 Pontiac G6 so far is the air intake sensor and the seat beat sensor went out also, making it where the seat belt light remain on in the dash even though I am buckled in. But those problems are cheap fixes that cost under $70 each.

Yes! Not sure which one your going to get. I have drove the 2.4, 3.5, and 3.9 but not the 3.6 yet. No problems with either engine with minor maintaince due to wear and tear. I had friends who own the 2.4 and 3.5. But i have an 06 g6 gtp with the 3.9. Absolutely a blast to drive! Eventually one day the 3.6 is next for me to drive.

@@RealKansasMan I have an 06 g6 gtp. About a year ago the passenger air bag cause the air bad light to cut on dash after 5 minutes of start up. Then one day it just stop doing it till this day. The airbag light still come on after initial start up but cut off with other lights after a few seconds. So its functioning right. Other than that a nice car.

Is this car reliable? I want to get one but don’t want to spend a ton on repairs.

the g6 is reliable, they last over 200,000 miles but the hard top might not be reliable.

we don't drive that slow in Wisconsin. We are nervous drivers though because of the snowy winters (saying this on a day where local schools were canceled due to snow)

J.R Cody 41 through greenbay has improved so much lately espically up by Howard. Anything south of the de Pete Walmart through Appleton needs work though

The wheels on a Pontiac G6 are 17 inch. I own one of these cars. They are nice for the money.

Sadly in these G6's the radio is not bluetooth and worst of all, it doesn't even have a jack to plug your phone into. I have an '07 3.9 which I bought as a secondary car but, at the time I didn't realized the radio didn't have bluetooth or a jack. It does have two satellite XM stations and two FM's but, I personally like listening to my own music while driving so I was forced to buy an FM transmitter

@@JAMSTUBE FM transmitters work pretty well nowadays. If you find the right station it literally sounds crystal clear so it's not that big of a deal plus it automatically connects to my phone when I get in

@@gotworc One of the best FM transmitters out there is the Anker ROAV with Dual USB Chargers. That's the one I bought for this car last year and still works great. Music sounds clear like you mentioned and connects nicely to my cell phone everytime. That's the one I would recommend anyone with a car that doesn't have bluetooth.

Yes, I own a 2007 G6 GT standard transmission. They only made around 500 in 2006 and 300 in 2007. I read that somewhere. In order to remove the key from the ignition, you must shift into reverse ( with the ignition off).

I had a 07 g6 bought it a few months ago as used, low mileage, but had ton of issues. The engine and transmission siund very good but i had to start replacing other parts. DO NOT BUY IT.

I absolutely love mine. I have 2007 also. My only problem is a grinding from the front end if I take off too fast. It goes away when it shifts into 2nd or if I just ease up on the gas when the noise starts. I don't know what it is but I don't have the cash to have a pro check it out. Anyway, I think it's a fantastic car and I'm keeping it til it cant drive no more.😁

@@PourA4inA2 Well, I cant afford to have it looked at, so I'm just gonna drive it. It's been a great car - it made it from Arizona to Kentucky and Kentucky to Buffalo and back 4 times with the grinding and a leaky radiator. The radiator has been replaced but like I said, I cant afford to have it looked at. It' would probably be a very expensive tranny fix or replacement. I'm just gonna drive her till she drops.
