I am not a profession mechanic, but oil change is one of the car maintenance that can be done yourself. skip the wait at the dealership and SAVE yourself $30 to $50

I have this same exact car. It takes 5W20. I saw this guy used 5W30. 🤔 I use Royal Purple HMX 5W20 in my Mazda and I highly recommend it. Found this video while trying to find reviews about the Fram oil filter.

it scares me to see you use those plastic ramps to bear the weight of a car over you.. risky business :p Nice video tho. way more efficient than other ones i've seen. cheers dude!

Make sure you use the proper weight of oil for your car. I have a 2006 mazda 6 2.3L and it calls for 5w20 not 5w30 as used in this video. Good job on the video otherwise.

shilo pankiw Although 5W-20 is the recommended oil grade, the owner's manual does clearly say if 5W-20 is not available in your area, 5W-30 is an acceptable substitute.
