I fix mine. I kept having this issue when I started changing my oil. I was using cheap oil filters.. So I use an expensive oil filters and the problem is going. Its the weirdest thing. But it works for me... All of those fast Express people use cheap oil filters!!! All of them.. Buy your own.. Good luck..

I just got a oil change in my 2010 DTS and as you said I took it to a Express oil place and then all of a sudden I had the same problem so I'll take your advice I usually do it myself but I was out of town on emergency and needed a oil change.

Hello , my 2007 Escalade has a small Oil leak. And when I’m hauling something a lot of (pressure) on the truck it leaks a lot of oil could it be leaking from this oil sensor ?

loveto livetruely Be prepared for lots of little fixes. I have one straight piped it’s awesome but horrible on gas and lots of shit that needs to be fixed

Hey I got a 07 Escalade the 6.0 was taken out and added a 5.3 but all sensors are from the 6.0 and I did a oil change the next day the truck went into engine power reduced and I changed the sensor to the temperature for like when it over heats Bc it had melted so I bought the Sensor and the switch and still says engine power reduce what can it be

My engine light went out on it's own after some miles of driving .

Helio Trevino No, it randomly comes on. We changed the oil and filter with synthetic. Two days later the Low oil pressure/turn engine off sensor came on. Stays on for about 15 seconds and shuts off.

gabrielsmommy The excalade on this video had the same issue oil pressure light came on and off randomly I just replaced the sensor and that took care of the problem . I bet that yours has the same thing it's a very common problem on the 5.3 and 6.0 engines

Mine has the light on when cold and usually comes off after engine is warm at cold temperatures I do hear the ticking on valve covers. Possible a bad oil pump? When you rev the truck the ticking goes away and so does the lignt..

Found out the 6.2 doesn't have the filter behind the sensor.

I just did my oil pressure sensor and I also changed the screen filter as it was clogged, my 6.2 definitely had one there and I think the screen was the issue not the sensor .

@@heliotrevino1858 hey buddy I got a 08 Escalade 6.2 60psi cold 15-20 warm sometimes like 5 if not lower when really warm and driving engine does knock sometimes not a rod but lifters

wow you didn't show you taking it out

Unless you're showing off your motor who cares how dirty the engine bay is in a sense not literal dirty components but dust isn't going to hurt nothing
