Overall I would say not for the inexperienced. Although if you take your time anybody can do it if you have the tools.

Only thing I can add is preload the bushings. Otherwise they will deteriorate quickly. This video is what I was looking for, for my Buick LaCrosse 👍

I was always told with control arms to lower the car on to a jack stands so the full weight of the car in on the side you are doing then tighten the bolts.. does it make a difference

That makes sense; but I know many mechanics who do not.

@@daveprototype6079 If you don't load the suspension to ride height before tightening those bolt's then the bushings will not last very long.

It makes it easier but can be done without removing them.

great video, Thank you, My question is, I have never seen a steel lower control arm it looked and sounded cheap too me, Dont take that in a defensive matter, Usually they arealuminum cast. Is the steal part a cheaper alternative then the aluminum? I know alot of these car parts are china made and we are stuck with them and alot are cheaply made anymore, I was told that by alot of mechanics, Thank you
