Overall I would say not for the inexperienced. Although if you take your time anybody can do it if you have the tools.

Only thing I can add is preload the bushings. Otherwise they will deteriorate quickly. This video is what I was looking for, for my Buick LaCrosse 👍

How did you get that castle nut off without taking the CV Axle out of the way?

I was always told with control arms to lower the car on to a jack stands so the full weight of the car in on the side you are doing then tighten the bolts.. does it make a difference

That makes sense; but I know many mechanics who do not.

@@daveprototype6079 If you don't load the suspension to ride height before tightening those bolt's then the bushings will not last very long.

great video, Thank you, My question is, I have never seen a steel lower control arm it looked and sounded cheap too me, Dont take that in a defensive matter, Usually they arealuminum cast. Is the steal part a cheaper alternative then the aluminum? I know alot of these car parts are china made and we are stuck with them and alot are cheaply made anymore, I was told that by alot of mechanics, Thank you

Thats the one they brought it probably was the cheaper one as they were on a budget

The use of these cheap parts by GM is why most people are now buying Japanese vehicles.
