it's fine, I've got the upgraded hydraulic Assembly, and it's about the same as stock. pedal pressure wise

+Alex Messina ooh yeah. lol the stock clutch. To my knowledge, was never replaced. So if that's the case it had like 150k miles on it. And it was slipping with just a super chips tuner lol. The SB grabs and doesn't let go.

+Alex Messina yeah, anytime! it's a bit of an investment, but a DD South bend will probably be the last clutch you ever need.

im looking at doing a 366 on my 04.5 how is it as dd with stock fuel? is it really smokey going up long hills? How are the egts when just normal driving

it's actually a really good daily driver. It's only smoky down at low rpms, and that is because of the smarty. going on the highway I usually see around 6-700 °. And when I tow it usually doesn't go above 900.

Awesome cause I was on the fence on if i should get it with only having stock. I do plan on getting injectors, lift pump, and maybe dual fulers at some point not dont have the money to do it all at once. but after watching your videos makes me want to order a 366 tonight. Love the truck thanks for the input

+Alex Byron yeah no problem man. If you buy it from Smeding diesel, just a warning. it's not a direct drop in turbo. You have to buy some other parts to make it work.

+Adam .T Im wanting to put a s366 on my 2nd gen with arp head studs tranny and 150 horse injectors. But what else did you have to get to put it in the truck

how laggy was the turbo and was size was the turbine?

not too laggy with a smarty the turbine is a 91.4 I think slicktmi

Adam .T ok just wanted to make sure cause i was going to use one as my secondary on my twin set up i had a 64 mm on stock sticks but that wasn't too bad i now have 200hp injectors and a 10mm stroker cp3 what brand is the turbo?

that's more than enough fuel for a 66. it's a box Borg Warner with a .91 A/R exhaust housing. (the one in the video is a gated .80 housing) slicktmi

Adam .T so you switched to the non gated housing? how much power were you able to squeeze out of the single? and yeah the 200 will be fine but it's also going over a s483 just didn't want to much drive pressure.

+Kyle Andrusenki I've never put it on the track and gotten a time slip. But my fastest 1/4 time done with my edge insight is 14 sec. But I don't know how accurate it is.

Well, to be honest I don't know how much hp/tq ive gained, but obviously it is going to give it a lot more power, especially when I get the fuel/cam to turn it. From the website I bought it from, they claim that it can make 800+ hp. And I've read somewhere that there was a truck with a s366 that made like 830hp/1700 ft/lbs with a s366. With a IJ cp3, and 200hp injectors.

+Adam .T I was looking at this turbo on XDPs website, just one more question I'm sorry to bombard you with them haha, any Milage Gains by any chance? And also does it take a little bit to light up once you get on it?

+Kyle Andrusenki I bought this one from smeding diesel. I don't mind answering questions, I get them all the time on instagram. My mileage didn't improve or get worse. My mpg thing on the compass, while it probably isn't right, I still get around the same as before, 20-25mpg. Yes it does take a bit to light, but it depends on the programmer. I used to have a superchips, and it would take noticeably longer to spool up than my smarty s06.
