I did one a few years back, with two of that series of amps. Added passive crossovers for the 2.5 mid ranges, added some coaxial 5x7s all around, and a woofer. Mounted everything back up to that sound bar, was able to fit the amps back on it. Sounded good for what it was.

Dean sir I have a 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed 1500 4x4 it has the premium infinity by chrysler am fm cd player cassette tape player stereo system with the Factory premium infinity 6 speaker sound system with the Factory amplifier filters that are on the front door speakers for the factory headunit, anyways the truck had the front doors swapped out to lower trim level doors, ironically the wrong doors they are from a early club cab or a up to the same year regular cab truck, but the quad cab is squared off the rear door is part of the door jamb for the front doors.anyways this truck when I got it had been upgraded to a dual electronics xm250 nice stereo but it didn't work correctly so since I had the correct style factory headunit for a project idea i had.. it's in the truck and the front speakers for the most part work fine, but I don't know what else they did other than the lower level trim truck only had 2 prong Chrysler audio Latina speakers, and they said they put a set of speakers that was given to them in the doors on the truck,, im not changing the factory headunit I happen to like it and this one has been serviced it's got new deck belts, new led light bulbs and everything works.. anyways I am for now putting the 4 speakers i already have in because it has to be better than whatever they did since the factory 8 pin amplifier filters sound system connector is on the passenger side floor pan and i have a mismatch set of speakers but its all new and its what I have a cs kicker speaker series set for the front doors and a cerwin vega hed series 6 3/4 set of speakers for the rear doors, anyways I eventually am planning to go buy a complete set of the infinity reference 6x9,and 6 3/4 speakers to put the majority of the system back infinity products, and I was thinking of powering the rear speakers i am putting in it for now with a new in box dual electronics xpr82d amplifier by the high level inputs to the amplifier off the right rear speaker, it would take up a whole lot less room than the cerwin vega hed h79004 amplifier new in the box i also already have. As I was saying that I want to retain the factory premium infinity by chrysler am fm cd player cassette tape player stereo and it would be nice to make the pillar mount tweeters functional again but not necessary any ideas or suggestions on this?!

I just upgraded my Mach 460 system. I didn't have to take out the fold down seats - I don't know if taking them out would have made the job easier. I kept the original speaker box in the back and kept the tweeter and woofer separate (OEM speakers replaced with new component speakers). Ran new speaker wiring for the woofers to remove the parallel connections. It was a lot of work. The 2002 Ford Mustang wiring manual could have been better written. I might add a subwoofer in the future. Update - I changed my mind, removed that big speaker box in the back, and used coaxial speakers in the rear deck. I installed kilmat on the rear deck also along with Kilmat in the trunk, trunk lid and spare tire cavity. Pioneer 1kW amplifier. I get good decent bass without a subwoofer but I might install one later.

Nothing, the speakers would crack every now and then when a big bass would hit but the stay off. Any idea what the issue maybe 😭 I thought it was the amps but I replaced those and I have the same issue still. Thank you in advance for any help if this gets to you lol

So essentially you ran the front door speakers to the Kenwood directly. and then ran the rear speakers directly to the amp and ran 4 rca cables to the Kenwood for the different audio channels for the sub and rear speakers. Please if most of what I said was wrong or didn’t make sense correct me. I’m currently in a nightmare of an audio problem with my mustang

I read every comment on new videos and I have never seen your name. They usually don't answer questions on these videos. On live stream videos it is very hard to also get answers from them because they get so many questions. Also you sound like an elementary school girl not sharing her crayons because someone else can color better than her. Like someone else posted Google is your friend. It's unbelievable that people nowadays want all the answers spoon fed to them. I remember in the 70's and 80's when knowledge came from books and you had to go to a library. Now everything is on a little device in your hand and most people don't understand how to use it. Unbelievable.
