I doubt you will see this, but thank you! I have been using your recipes and guidance for 3 years now. This white girl has made a Mexican man not belive I wasn't at least part Mexican. Lol! I started making these in remembrance of my mom and now we have an annual tamale and bonfire event. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!

Now I know why tamales are so expensive…I never knew how much work actually goes into making them!😯❤️

They were never expensive it’s the cost of living that’s increasing the price on everything I bought 2 dozen $60!!!

I have never made tamales because I knew I’d never come close to the incredible flavor, attention and love that our local tamale lady put into hers. But after seeing this, I’m making a big batch for Christmas! My Dad is gonna be so excited! We don’t live in AZ anymore so it’s been years since we had tamales! I can’t wait!

My dads favorite food was tamales. He passed before I could learn to make them for him. Now every time I have tamales I think of him, it’s my favorite part ❤

I did enjoy them very much. I had no idea making them is a huge labor of love. After making them that literally took all day. The reward was Amazing. Thank you for the cooking tips it helped. I'm not kidding they were absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. And yes, I'm a man. I have to do the cooking because my wife of 31 years is an ADON at her job. She also has to work on the floor as an On Call nurse. ADON means Assistant Director of Nursing. I also worked and raised our Girls. It's an empty nest now. But our Grandkids love Grandpa's cooking. And this along with puffy tacos are a complete hit around our house. I am not ashamed of learning to cook clean and wash clothes and get our girls ready for school all k through 12. We had to do what we had to do to make it through this life. I am a huge fan of your cooking. Keep doing what you do best. Teaching. My grandkids thank you talk Grandpa very well especially at Latino food. Well that's about it for now. One big fan signing off

This reminds me of our family. My dad would take tamales to his job for their pot luck. Turned to just tamale fiesta and desserts. My mom would prep all day and then once cooked and after dinner we would all sit around the table as we embarra the hojas. We would talk about life. Find out family gossip and just have fun. We would be up to about 2-3am and would eat a tamale before bed. Great family memories.
