I made 200 Minecraft Players simulate civilization in a prison society on the Titanic! This was the most crazy thing I have ever seen in Minecraft!

About event:
Corruption, greed, and disaster. This was the most EPIC storyline ever scene in Minecraft. Players were split up into Titanic Passengers, Prisoners, and Guards. Each day would present a new set of challenges for the Prisoners, whilst the Titanic Passengers enjoy the luxuries of the vessel before the eventual disaster scenario. The server was up for 3 physical days, but for 2-5 hours.
Huge shoutout to:

For those who want to know, there was no prison below decks on the titanic. Instead in its place were the turbine engine casing, which was basically a long pipe connected with wires to the propellers. Forward of that, was titanic’s engine room. Which had 2 steam powered engines, and one turbine powered engine in the middle. This was because when the white star line built the ship, they had to decide what engine the white star liners would have. The steam powered engines were slow, but really efficient, but a more modern turbine engine, was faster but really inefficient and took a lot of coal to run. So they combined the efficient steam powered engines, with a turbine engine for a speed boost, and that was that. Then there was the 6 boiler rooms, and no, prisoners were not used to give coal to the ship. Instead there was a job you could sign up for called a “stoker” who it was your primary job to shovel coal into the boilers. Where did they sleep? Well, they sleeped up in the forward bow section called the “seamen’s quarters” where the were bunk beds, washrooms, and metal bars on those bunk beds, from D deck to G deck. But anyways the boilers also had coal bunkers, which as you think it is, Stored all the coal that titanic would need for the voyage. Above them were massive holes to the funnels, and that’s were all the smoke came from. And the 4th funnel, acted as a ventilator. And stokers could climb up the 4th funnel if the wanted some fresh air. In fact, in the most famous photo of the titanic, there is a stocker which is peaking out the 4th funnel. But even forward of that we’re the cargo holds. These stored ships cargo, like a brand new car, alot of linin and other meterails were loaded onto the titanic here. Also there’s a post office area right on top of the boilers. There were 3 rooms dedicated to Mail, the olorp (boiler and engine room deck) mail room. The mail sack room on G deck, and the mail room on f deck.

I love how you included the Nomadic! She actually still exists today as the last ship made by the white star line still afloat! She is currently in Belfast Ireland where the Titanic and all other ships of the line were built, as she would have looked when she was a tender to Titanic, and her sister ship RMS Olympic.
@zombiefied7628

Makes sense since in Belfast, Titanic history is pretty huge. One of our biggest tourist landmarks (if that's the right words) is the Titanic Museum. Ship-building was massive for Belfast up until it began to wane in the late 60s, with stuff like Harland and Wolff (who built the Titanic) closing down (though some of their stuff still exists today), and was hardly going to recover at the onset of the Troubles.

@@zacharyrollick6169 Atleast on the titanic they didnt locked the third class passengers away. Yes its true that the Titanic had Gates but they were open at any time. Still doesnt change the fact that the third class didnt have any lifeboats on their deck which meant that the passengers also had the longest way to walk until they arrived at the deck with the lifeboats. Third class passengers were seperated but they were not locked away. Of course these passengers also had no Idea where the lifeboats were located and which way was the quickest to get to them. Especially because the titanic was build like a labyrinth. Lots of third class passengers didnt even know what was going on because they couldnt speak english. Its actually sad because the real designer of the Titanic Alexander Carlisle (and not Thomas Andrews. He came after Alexander Carlisle left the company) actually wanted 64 Lifeboats on the Titanic but the Owner declined it.

You should do a death troopers rp, if you ever read the book it’s pretty good it’s starts off as a prison ship asking a star destroyer for help but they don’t get a response because the star destroyer is full of zombies it’s a great Star Wars book but you should definitely read it and maybe do an rp.

I think that would shy away from the respectful roleplaying aspect to in a way romanticizing these real peoples deaths. If people had skins of the real life people that really downplays the horror that they actually went through. Ngl, I was actually surprised when I heard Brazil's anthem in the video.
This is definitely not 1:1 scale, it's quite a bit bigger. Titanic was not that big. That said, this is a very interesting social experiment showcasing a lot of human behaviours, though arguably escalated a little due to a lack of real consequences. Reminds me a little bit of the Stanford prison experiment, but legal and ethical (since it's a video game). Historical inaccuracies aside, I was FASCINATED to see how events would play out, and it was interesting to see some leaders and some people who just went with the flow. We humans are wonderfully weird creatures, and watching these experiments with social interaction is always entertaining.
@izzytodd4242
4 ай бұрын
To be fair, it’s pretty hard to get a 1:1 scale in Minecraft, unless you do 1 block=1 inch, and are able to obtain those measurements. Cause like, if you do it by every three feet is a block, what do you do when the hallways is five feet? Or the room is 14 feet across? It’s pretty good given that Minecraft gives you limited things to work with.
1:20 Great to see the 'Little Sister' (Nomadic) included as the tender!
Me personally with my type of content would know a lot about the sinking of the titanic. so I’m excited to see what this video has to offer

Simulating the Titanic in Minecraft with 200 players can be a fascinating and ambitious project. To undertake this endeavor, you would need careful planning, coordination, and likely the help of various mods or plugins to achieve the level of detail required for an accurate simulation. Here's a general outline of how you might approach this: 1. **Server Setup:** - Choose a powerful server hosting platform that can handle the load of 200 players and the complexity of the simulation. - Install necessary plugins or mods that will enhance the realism of the simulation. This might include mods for shipbuilding, water physics, and player interactions. 2. **Building the Titanic:** - Designate a team of builders who will recreate the Titanic's exterior and interior. You might want to use historical references, blueprints, and photographs to ensure accuracy. - Divide the construction into sections and assign different teams or players to work on different parts of the ship to speed up the process. 3. **Interior Detailing:** - Focus on creating accurate interior spaces, including cabins, dining areas, ballrooms, and engineering rooms. This level of detail will enhance the immersive experience. 4. **Water Physics and Sinking:** - Utilize mods or plugins that allow for realistic water physics and sinking mechanics. This is a crucial aspect of simulating the Titanic's tragic fate. - Plan the sinking sequence carefully, ensuring that players have time to react and make decisions similar to those faced by passengers and crew during the actual disaster. 5. **Roleplay and Immersion:** - Encourage players to take on roles of passengers, crew members, and even historical figures. This will enhance the immersive aspect of the simulation. - Create scenarios and events based on real-life occurrences during the Titanic's journey, such as the iceberg collision, evacuation procedures, and communication challenges. 6. **Safety and Etiquette:** - Establish rules and guidelines for player behavior to ensure respectful and appropriate interaction within the simulation. - Prioritize safety and ensure that the simulation doesn't glorify or trivialize the real tragedy. 7. **Documentation and Media:** - Assign players or a team to capture screenshots, videos, and other media to document the simulation. - Consider streaming the simulation or creating a time-lapse video to showcase the construction process and the sinking sequence. 8. **Community Engagement:** - Share updates about the project's progress on social media platforms, Minecraft forums, and relevant communities. - Invite other Minecraft enthusiasts to join the simulation as players, spectators, or volunteers. Remember that simulating the Titanic in Minecraft with 200 players is a complex undertaking that requires time, dedication, and careful planning. Additionally, respectful handling of the historical context is paramount. It's also important to have a backup plan in case technical issues arise during the simulation.

What in the world am I watching? I came to see the titanic recreation in minecraft and am watching a something else. There was no prison on the titanic lol well this is def creative and would be fun to participate in but to call it a titanic simulation is a tad misleading.
