@@FlagerMiszcz 2k from 300 in a few hours? That's impossible. 300 is low even for a beginner that barely knows how the pieces move. And 2k is already close to fide master level. On 200 ELO you don't even need to cheat, you can just use the Scholar's Mate, and win
@Leyrann
Жыл бұрын
Nah, Scholar's Mate requires your opponent to have enough brain cells to know that you shouldn't blindly attack enemy pieces at every opportunity. If you go queen first, 200 elo will definitely attack it, if you go bishop first, there's a chance they'll attack the bishop with a pawn, and if they don't then you still have to put your queen out there and get a 50/50 chance whether they attack with the knight (giving you checkmate) or with the pawn (blocking the attack). Though I suppose you could move your queen to f3 and try again, in the latter case. I suspect this is also why it's called Scholar's Mate, by the way. It's the quickest mate that's designed to work against opponents who aren't completely braindead, but instead are simply unaware of the attack and don't have the presence of mind to see it when it happens. Other quick mates tend to have rather more negative names, such as the Fool's Mate.

3:00 I’d actually say that for a 200, not taking is their best strategy. This is because a 200 is not going to understand pawn structure well enough to know when to take vs when not too. In general, you should take with purpose, when there is a reason to take, but for someone this low elo they probably wouldn’t see a reason to take, so don’t. It’s better than the other end of the spectrum where a player will take any piece they can get their hands on without a second thought
As an 1100, this has happened to me in my games. I usually have multiple inaccuracies, mistakes, and blunders, especially if we make it to endgame. But occasionally, the pieces just fall in line into my favor, my opponent plays obvious exploitable blunders, and I play a perfect game and checkmate in 15-20 moves. Also once I make some error, it tends to snowball into a rough position that is difficult to defend, leading to more errors.
Between your comments and the evaluation bar yo-yo I was laughing hilariously
thank you once again for clarifying that this was a stockfish cheater, and not a chess boxing cheater (like the referee in Andreas game) Also much love from nz ❤
I never thought i’d laugh so hard in a chess video, until 17:12 happened
18:00 I’m not gonna lie I was feeling super confident about that bishop sack especially when you played it then you got me with that back rank lol
14:49 I actually thought knight h6 as well for exactly the reason you mentioned :| 18:14 would also have been my move for that specific mate. Guess my brain has turned into Stockfish at some point in time.
More of this please I’m 800 and getting back into chess and I find this hilarious
Hey I love the videos man, I thought It would be cool if you could do a video where you try to guess the strategy of some wildly ridiculous moves that some bots make. The seemingly nonsensical moves, what is the purpose of it? Could we follow the rabbit hole to the engines genius, or its lack thereof. :D
I commented 'looks like a new Levy video' on that Reddit post, the person below tagged him, and here it is. That makes me happy.
great video as always. off topic, but can't wait for the vid on todays Magnus v Fabi match which I must assume will be coming. What an insane performace. Last but not least, good job on the boxing commentating
200 Elo! That’s like blundering your queen 5 moves in level bad.
I especially hate it when people cheat at such a low Elo. It can be very demotivating for new players to get beat so mercilessly

Yeah tbh I feel bad about doing that
17:51 I'm an 1100 in daily games and I definitely would've been mated. I had tunnel vision on the bishop sac because I was so focused on how can I finish this mate.
Love the ASMR, Levy slowly becoming Eric
That wired interview was great, it’s gonna get 1 mil views under 24 hours. Great to see your success.
when you say we could not guess the next move with 10 guesses, it is almost always an edge pawn being pushed one or two spaces.
Can't wait to see Levi on multiple ASMR playlists
I would love a bit more chess openings! Hope those are fun to make
15:40, just a short note that Levy forgot to point out, the f4 pawn has been played so Bxh6 isn't easily playable since two pawns are in the way. Sometimes it's common to play Nh6 in a French position or certain positions after white plays f4 which in turn reduces the scope of their Bishop. Also in an advance French playing Nf6 is impossible because of exf6, so sometimes I've seen Nh6.
I'm a 500 and I saw that Knight move to block the rook from giving back rank checkmate but I didn't see the mate in 1 tbh
Every move the players make the advantage bar is going in the opponents favor haha
In the last game ending I guessed knight e3 for all the wrong reasons (assumed rook takes and you take back which gets rid of their rook which is the piece not allowing you to check, I didn't see checkmate for white if you don't block the rook or that it allows Qf2 checkmate if rook doesn't take it). I need to pay more attention to those things.
Watching that ne3 move to block backrank mate is the most computer like way to stop back rank when most humans would just either move the bishop to have the rook protect the king or move a pawn to create an escape square
The evaluation analysis bar: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Oh it stopped. AHHHHHH NEVERMINDDDDD
i'm a full day staring at my monitor after the video ended just because Levy didn't say "get outta here" at the end i mean what am i supposed to do now?
me sleeping in the hotel AND HE SACRIFICES THE ROOOOK
Lmao , " One of the games looks like you had 104 fever and you popped a Motrin.!" I laughed out loud in real life that was so funny. Rewind worthy.
Your disbelief at the moves they played is too funny 😂
As a mid-600's player who's just started getting into chess in the last 4-5 days or so, its funny how so many of the bizarre moves made by the engine were actually my first thought. Specifically Queen to E8 and Knight to E3 in the second game, although there were a few more. What makes it funny is that I'm making these moves cuz I'm an idiot, and not actually seeing the value in them that the engine sees, so even by making them I don't have good enough vision and strategy to see how useful they are. There truly is a fine line between stupid and clever xD
i think it would be cool if you analyzed some of the games on the chessbox tournament here as well, through a proper video format (especially andrea and dina's match)

He said he will
Man I saw this post on Reddit! Before I even watch this I’m sure you’re going to look at the 8% game and I cannot wait to hear the commentary
0:39 I thought there was some lag or sound problem, but the following words made me ROFL.
I literally said "Yes" out loud when I saw another chess cheater video🤣
wen levy says he didn't want to loss his roock so he losses his roock maid me cry
When he was talking quietly I assumed that this was an older vid and I had to check the date.
You actually made me laugh Levy, thank you
19:04 Paracetamol knocks Levy's fever down. Doesn't realize it's Tylenol.
