So the boss is referred to as Utgarde Loki. If youre curious, in Norse Mythology, Utgarde Loki was an illusion Caster who managed to trick both Thor and Loki into thinking he was an unbeatable Giant. He performed many tricks on the two gods, and even managed to get away from them in the end.

For those wondering about the TTS Letters from 9:04 to 9:15, they just spell "Leave me alone, you are -making- me uncomfortable" again. When they come back later, they repeat the same thing two more times (except the first repeat doesn't have the e in uncomfortable for some reason) EDIT: As pointed out but @JetSetDman, the word "making" is actually skipped, the ending is just "you are me uncomfortable." Not sure why that is, either.

From what I can tell Asriel didn’t like Kris, and traumatized them by the lake. Toriel moved along with Asriel, likely in the past when Kris was younger. I’m not sure about Asgore, since the flower shop is still there. The notice saying Toriel is moving calls her Ms. Toriel, but she refers to herself as Toriel Dreamurr in the letter. So I’m not sure if she divorced Asgore, but he doesn’t have custody over them. Kris became depressed, and created imaginary friends from various junk laying around. A Gecko skin for Susie, a bunch of sticks for Noelle, a blue quill for Berdly, Cat fur for Catti, but I’m not sure about the toenails and dead skin. Not to mention the other weird things found in the abandon classroom closet. But they were still empty, so Kris went back to the lake. They met with a mysterious being, who had incredible power. They created a world for Kris, but it is now falling apart.

Well, we got plenty of answers… but many more questions. Also, I think we might be getting answers to the channel name. Or I’m thinking too hard about calling that weird thing “The Veil.” Another thing… the player is really good at this game. I find it interesting that either Kris… or the player… enjoyed the creation, which I’m assuming is the roaring town or one of the other messed up things.

Things of note: //Part 1 - It seems likely that this video is a direct continuation of the last one. It is unclear, however, how they got inside the school, as it was boarded up back in 16_roaring town?. This is similar to how they got to the inside of the house back in 18_bedroom, aka completely unclear; could blame teleportation. - - The school is the same school that we see in 11_school early. - Entering the closet from the side Kris, predictably, ends up in Castle Town. Although the grand golden door is instead replaced with a small grey doorling. - The Castle Town itself is barren and resembles its Chapter 1 iteration. This is weird considering that in 02_unused castletown cutscene we can see it in its Chapter 2 iteration. - - This could symbolize the delusions being reduced to their bare bones, or I could be reading too much into it. - - From here we can also see other differences, such as a missing save point and a lack of a Dark Fountain in the background (this however could make sense considering the Home Town at this point in time is actually the Roaring Town). - Despite Castle Town being in its first iteration, Kris is able to enter the castle. Peculiarly, they skip the in-front-of-the-castle room and teleport straight inside. - Kris makes their way to the hole, but the dialogue box shown when examining it is of the Light World variety, not Dark World. - - The narration is obviously different, but here are a couple of fun little noteworthy things from the original one: - - - "There are unpleasant voices rising from the bottom" - I'm sure you've watched this video, so I don't have to state the obvious. - - - "They [unpleasant voices] remind you of pain. They remind you of the emptiness. They remind you of hi-" - Ditto. - The scenery at the bottom of the hole is... hard to pin down due to its almost unfinished nature (we have to remember that this *is* still just a dude datamining a game for cut and unused content), but it almost looks hellish in nature. - - -Aw hell nah Kris found the hellevator- - - - This note was expunged as a decision from the trout population council. - Advancing further we see red bouncing thingies reminiscent of the same ones at the start of Chapter 1 (makes sense considering this is technically still the same Dark World). Since there's a lot of them and they're significant I'll now call them the Red Bouncers. - //Dissecting the First Red Bouncer's dialogue// - - "Everyone had left them" - "Them" being Kris and "Everyone" being their family and possibly friends. - - "Though they knew it was not out of hate and malice" - Kris realizes they did a fucky-wucky, and thus they were left alone in the world. - - "The cold emptiness in their heart provided no comfort" - This line is almost unnoteworthy, however it's worth noting that when examining the western lockers in 11_school early, their description is "The lockers are cold and empty". The significance of that is unknown, and it could be a coincidence, but it is curious nonetheless. - - "On those cold December nights, they dreamed" - I'm sure I don't have to spell it out but the reason december specifically is mentioned is very curious. Possibly, one could even say that the significance of this line is that the whole thing has happened in December. Plausibility index: 15.7%. - - "A beautiful dream of knives and cartilage" - For the first time since starting to dissect these videos into assorted notes, I have to say that I have no idea what is meant here, especially why cartilage specifically. - //Dissecting the Second Red Bouncer's dialogue// - - "The detachment which had once been a defence against the world" - -Could be talking about Kris's "delusions"; a fake world, basically what we've observing for the 20th video.- - - "Was now their self appointed prisoner" - This line is slightly confusing, it would make more sense it would be their "prison" and not "prisoner". It also seems to reference 01_unused prison room which does, indeed, feature a prisoner. - - - Dissecting the prisoner's dialogue, I think I was misreading the meaning of these words. If the prisoner in that video is Kris's "detachment", then the lines "'These bars aren't here to keep you in, they're here to keep us out.' Why can't it be both? Am I not a danger to other people? Don't they want me locked away?" seem extra relevant. - - - - {Theory} You know, after putting it all together and thinking about it for a couple of minutes, I think I not only understand what is being meant better, but I think I might confident enough as to propose another theory: The Prisoner's identity is an aspect of Kris's. It's a part of Kris that blames themself for what happened. It's a part of Kris that didn't care much about anything ("detachment"), which had led to... whatever happened. The line saying "They're here to keep us out" may mean that Kris is trying - yet failing - to forgive themself. - - "Their abandonment had inculcated walls of wet grey mud" - "Their" in this case probably talks about Kris. - - "As the crushing loneliness finally sapped the joy from their heart" - Fairly self-explanatory. - - "They found solace in delusion and madness" - Okay, THIS has to be talking about the fake world that we've been observing for the 20th video and whatever. - - "To a desperate child... Anything can become a toy for play." - References a later line where Kris assembles a league of "friends". - //Dissecting the Third Red Bouncer's dialogue// - - "In the forsaken house, a common Hemidactylus Frenatus moulted its skin" - Hemidactylus Frenatus in simple terms is a Common House Gecko: - - - "The common house gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) is a gecko native to South and Southeast Asia as well as Near Oceania. It is also known as the Asian house gecko, Pacific house gecko, wall gecko, house lizard, tiktiki, chipkali or moon lizard." - Excerpt from wikipedia. You can find the rest by googling yourself. - - - The moulted skin obviously references the moulted skin found in the cupboard in 11_school early. - - - The forsaken house probably references the Dreemurr residence. (aka the h o u s e) - - "They found it and fashioned it into a companion" - Kris befriended a piece of gecko skin. To a desperate child... Anything can become a toy for play. - - "An abrasive young ally" - This could foreshadow that Susie is made up. - - "A kind thing who would bite and rip and claw and slash and tear and burn" - Ditto. - - "It felt so good to be wanted... protected..." - Kris genuinely thought a piece of gecko skin liked them. Probably. - //Dissecting the Fourth Red Bouncer's dialogue// - - "A pile of twigs was collected over 20 days" - References another item in the friend cupboard in 11_school early. - - "It took them 20 more days to assemble it into the perfect friend" - Ditto. - - "Radiant, kind, lovely... And willing to do anything for them. And she will." - This seems to be representing Noelle. Who, like Susie, is also made up. - - - This seems extra peculiar because in 11_school early the pile of twigs is described as being burnt. However, inversly, it would explain why Kris took a total of 40 days assembling her, with half of that time being spent on gathering materials, but I do not think that burnt wood would be effective construction material. This is also curious because Noelle's overall theme is ice and cold. Y'know, like christmas. - //Dissecting the Fifth Red Bouncer's dialogue// - - "A blue feather, cat hairs, a collection of toenails, dead skin from a rash..." - with the exception of a blue feather, all of these items weren't mentioned before. - - - Cross-referencing the list in 11_school early, we get: (1) A pile of burnt twigs [Noelle], (2) A blue quill/feather [Berdly], (3) A small animal bone, (4) A water damaged page ripped from a book, (5) A paper fortune teller but lined with runes rather than letters, (6) A shard of petrified wood, (7) A large, jagged, rotten tooth, (8) A pale purple piece of moulted skin [Susie], (9) Cat hairs [Most likely Catti], (10) A collection of toenails, (11) Dead skin from a rash. - - - - Some of the above items are fairly obvious, whilst others more closely resemble a fucking Rorshach test, so I won't be dissecting here what each friend symbolizes, but it should go without saying that not all of them are Kris's classmates. - - "They created so many friends" - -Yeah no shit.- - - "But they all were made with the horrible emptiness" - Fairly obvious what is meant here. - - "They could never love like they loved" - Confusing wording but it's probably "They (friends) could never love like they (Kris) loved". Could also be the reverse. - - "Not without intervention" - Not without outside help? - - - -Go to therapy Kris- - //Dissecting the Sixth Red Bouncer's dialogue// - - "They called into the lake... Into that hated place." - Obviously the turning point in Kris's life. - - "Most people are not prone to animosity when confronted with an animal lesser than them. In fact the initial reaction is one of benevolence and assistance." - An exact quote from 15_doorway. - - "What assistance they gave... And what a world they made." - Unsure about the implications of this sentence.

Things of Note: //Part 2 - The Seventh Red Bouncer actually doesn't bounce. - //Dissecting the Seventh Red UnBouncer's dialogue// - - "But pieces kept rotting off it like petals in the wind" - Probably talking about the Delusion World Kris had crafted. After all, delusions cannot be maintained forever. - - "Despite the seemigly vast power of the thing that holds the world..." - Could be talking about Kris's trauma that lead to the creation of the delusion in the first place? - - "Minds would boil inside heads, lands and houses putrefy into sickly mulch" - Could be referencing The Roaring Town. Also could be implying some sort of loop. - - "It was so wonderful... It was so horrible... It was joy... It was agony..." - Unusable junk. - - "But a corpse should be left well alone" - The "corpse" being, again, the Delusion world. - In the long walk section in the background we can see a seemingly large humanoid-shaped silhouette. - Next we see the lake scene. That fateful day. The dialogue we see is pretty much identical to the one in 15_doorway, except the bearer of the voice is confirmed to be without a shadow of the doubt to be Asriel. - After the dialogue he just... walks... away... To be fair, this scene plays out exactly how it was described in 07_cyberfield tvroom. - - This begs the question then, whether or not anybody actually drowned. We have to remember that nobody actually said anything about drowning in spite of there being subtle (and not-so-subtle, but I guess we have to call into question those as well) allusions to the fact. However, the drowning was a theory proposed and quickly adopted by us, the viewers. Let's explore each avenue, because they each make equally little sense, at least with our current level of knowledge. - - - If Asriel is indeed the one who drowned, then there are questions. Questions like, when did he drown? And how? - - - - If he drowns during this scene, then we have to question this scene's very validity, and, need I remind you, what happens here was described in two separate videos. - - - - If he drowns at a later date, but before moving out, then how would he drown? This variant, ironically, seems to be the most sense especially considering the other videos. Consider this: Asriel yells at Kris. Kris big sad. Kris go in lake (whatever reason). Asriel save Kris. Asriel drown instead. I know that this was the consensus of the whole "Asriel drown" theory, but I feel like it's crucial that somebody has to dissect it, exploring every possibility, especially taking this scene into consideration. - - - - Can we just agree that he didn't drown after moving out thanks - - - If Kris is instead the one who drowned, then there are a lot of contradictions. Indulge in following hypotheticals: - - - - If Kris somehow drowns during this scene, then that would contradict nearly every bit of information that we learned. Toriel's letter, Kris's artificial friends, need I go on? - - - - If Kris drowns after this scene but before Dreemurrs move out, that could potentially remove the contradiction with the letter (maybe he saw it, got big sad, etc. (but I'll get to the other thing with the letter in a minute)), but not with the artificial friends (the key condition for their existance is Kris being left alone). - - - - If Kris drowns after the Dreemurrs move out, then at first glance there are no contradictions whatsoever. And, indeed, it all does seem to fit. However, there's an issue with that that I'll get to in a minute. - - - If nobody had drowned, then there is a question. - - - - What we have to consider is the letter, and the reason for the Dreemurrs moving out in the first place. Moving is a serious endeavor. It cannot have been made lightly. Toriel had a job that she (presumably) loved, Asriel (presumably) had friends. That all potentially goes out the window and has to be built anew nearly from scratch. What could've happened that we know lead to two facts: the decision was sudden and they couldn't take Kris with them? Personally, I don't have the slightest idea, but this question, as far as I'm aware, is the only thing standing between this variant being completely wrong and this variant being as probable as Asriel drowning in the lake (the same goes for Kris drowning after they move, but in such a case we'd have to deal with the obvious mindfuck that comes with that). - After Asriel walks away, the flashback Kris morphs into a shapeless silhouette. It seems to be one of the entities of this world. I'm not entirely convinced that this entity is "Susie", but I do think they're of the same class. - - "The nature of time demands that all things decay" - A callback to 17_even more susie phone dialogue, where "Susie" mentions that "Stagnation leads to entropy and decay". They both seem to insinuate that Kris finding this place was a matter of time. - - "And now you've found a hole poked into the corpse skin of your world" - The hole being the literal hole they fell into. Also, this is the second time this world is referred to as a "corpse". - - "Crawling your way directly to the heart." - Obviously, this scene is what caused Kris to create his World of Delusions. - - "You challenge the ulcer and believe it to be the whole body." - There's more to this story. Or there's more entities like it ("The heart" could be referring to the entity, not to this scene. For the lack of a singular name, that's what I'll call it from now on.). Or, potentially, both the facts are true. - Kris commences a battle with "The Heart". - - During battle it has many names that it constantly switches between. These include: - - - The Blooming Waste. - - - Utgarda-Loki. - - - - "So the boss is referred to as Utgarde Loki. If youre curious, in Norse Mythology, Utgarde Loki was an illusion Caster who managed to trick both Thor and Loki into thinking he was an unbeatable Giant. @@O-t-D hey first thing i suffered trough the whole thing and yeah its great but im so tired for reading (its cool tho) second. in the tv video (07_cyberfieldtv) there is NO mention of drowing just that one of the boys left. i belive thats when the drowning theory started, i think its basles aside from the obvious connections to water and how important it seems to be. The lake itself already took one of the guard bros thingys partner (sorry i forgot thier names) in roaring town. but yeah aside from that no other character mention drowing (AGAIN ASIDE FROM THAT ONE guard bro monster, cuz his partner prabobly drowned but still) and third thing im now your 10th subscriber

But I thought it was crucial to at least dissect that theory as well and at least put it into question (a tad late, but we didn't really have a reason to doubt it before). A slight note, but i think that the last they in "they could never love like they did" may be referring to the dreemurr family? Since toriel stated in the letter that her and kris connected well, and only asriel seemed to be an ass to kris Side note, but i found this arg today (apparently the ending day because the final video is labeled conclusion lol) and am quickly speeding through all videos, and your theory writings (and other folks as well) have been very interesting to read along with the videos, nice job!

It took Kris 20 Days to collect the twigs 20 Days to "assemble It into the perfect friend" And now... 20 Days to reach the Climax of this story. This is probably the most horrifying spin/reimagining of Deltarune's premise / Deltarune as a whole. It's also *really* interesting how this took the *OMORI* Route of "None of this wonderland is real, accept reality, you *must* remember" I really hope we get *some* sort of happy ending, like, was Noelle even real, or anyone *"actually"* real???(y'know, since Kris managed to create Susie from a piece of their skin that fell off of them(or do they go by he/him in this... world(???)?) and turned purple(because Kris had a rash), so now, I wonder, ARE *MONSTERS* EVEN REAL??? I MEAN, WHAT TYPE OF NEXT INSANE PLOT TWIST IS GONNA HAPPEN NEXT??!???????????) I wonder... anyway, yeah, this better have a good/bittersweet end, where Kris wakes up(If they aren't dead, that is???) also, If I got everything wrong, plz tell me, because this is *SO* confusing, but It's at least nice I was here for It, so yea, so far, the lore is *kinda* understandeable, but It also has a lot of Occult/Gaster/Deltarune/ *OMORI* / Coronation Day('the) / Just Weird Lore in General Themes, so It makes It even *MORE* WEIRD AND CONFUSING AAAAUUGGHHHHHHHHH- Oh well. My general theory is this is Kris having to come to terms with reality. Maybe monsters are still real. But things like dark fountains and darkners likely aren’t.

I think this series is a great interpretation of the fever dream Toby would have had that inspired the end of Deltarune.

Casual tuesday for Kris, fighting an eldritch entity shaped like Jesus. I think I can piece together a story. This is an alternate timeline where Hometown kids don't exist, Kris still gets adopted by the Dreemuur . However, Asirel rejects them. Toriel and Asirel move and leave Kris to another foster parent. Kris runs from home and creates an allusion of friends who actually likes them unlike Asirel. An animal that attacks anything that moves(Susie) A Stack of Twigs (Noelle) A Blue Feather (Obvious) However, the illusion is not complete, Kris using their knowledge of the occult and summons a "demon" To complete it The illusion starts the shatter (The Roaring) Kris confronts the truth and the "demon" and fights to free themself and their friends, convincing the demon to let them go. In the end, the plot is Omori, but Asirel isn't thrown down the stairs the end.

So it seems like the Deltarune world was essentially an illusion or fantasy world that the ‘sea monster’ or whatever was lying at the bottom of the lake made for Kris after they drowned? It seems Lie of the Land/Útgarða-Loki was the Titan, and in this case triggering the Roaring was brought about by breaking the illusion and stepping out of bounds (As seen in Doorway, assuming that Roaring Town is a direct follow up) EDIT: I think it’s interesting how after entering the pit, the area Kris starts in appears to be a lake of fire. In Egyptian mythology, it appears as an obstacle on the journey through the underworld which can destroy or refresh the deceased. In Christianity, it is a place of punishment of the wicked after they die. Make of that what you will.

So school early WAS during the roaring.

So this world of deltarune was forged from the benevolent pity of an eldritch god at the bottom of the lake. It took pity on Kris’ terrible circumstances and rebirthed the world in the image of their imagination, a world of monsters, magic and dark worlds with fantastic adventures and wonderful friends. But even deities have their limits. The world began to decay and Kris slipped through the cracks. Further they fell through their rotting fantasy until they finally confronted the God behind it all once again… the one they called out to at the lake. The deity took pity on Kris once again, a small modicum of respect that Kris would show kindness despite being unable to cause true harm. And so they left… *with the remains of the world they gave to Kris.* If we get another episode… its all going to be normal again… Though if Kris decides to go against the Gods wishes of no further interaction… a far more malicious being may turn its gaze to the world *and make life a living hell.*

music goes insane for no particular reason

i appreciate the effort to make this series, and its really interesting, but, if this is the finale, i would like to give a bit of criticism, and its that, for being an attempt to tell a story through the guise of being a recording of gameplay, kris tends to move in directions that i dont think you can move in deltarune, outside of the 8 directions, and often, they end up moving overly perfectly to spots that they need to be in order to interact with something. not only that, but the soul moves too quickly in this fight, with too much precision. if you were to do another deltarune project like this, though this could apply to a lot of rpgs, i would suggest thinking out imperfections in movement, like, say, standing offcenter for checking an object, or checking some objects twice to see if theres more text and there isn't. also, kris should have taken at least some damage during the fight, also in the service of making it feel more realistically like gameplay. all in all, i like this, and i think you've done a great job on it, but the veneer wears thin at points. also, why is BURIEDALIVE in the lightning-flickering background? that was just confusing to me

So from what I can gather Kris was adopted by the dreemurrs and got really attached to them but they couldn’t take care of Kris for one reason or another and they couldn’t get along with Asriel or anyone else and after a confrontation in the lake Asriel left and so did toriel which made Kris retreat into their mind and create a fantasy world to escape reality

​I don't know, the description reads "climax", and every climax is followed by a conclusion, connecting all loose ends... Unless this is meant to be open ended, or all the clues have been set in place for us to figure out already

You know, I'm honestly really terrified about what the next part would be like if there even will be one. The usage of climax rather than ending is an indication that the end is soon, but not yet though I would absolutely be satisfied if it was left here. This series has been wonderful. We still aren't fully out of the waters, we don't even know if Kris is fully dead or not. Scenario 1.) Kris is in the lake, in the process of drowning while their mind resorts to The Liar's concocted paradise. Even if they were to swim back to the shore, the home they return to is still not the best. They still have no friends to turn to, we don't know if they ever got accepted into a new home after being put back up for adoption. Though free, this is kind of bittersweet for them. Scenario 2.) Kris is doomed to drown in the lake, they could have been dead for a while now and they've persisted through the support of The Liar. Their soul finally ascending after they are granted their escape. It could also just be that they're too far from the land to be able to make it back safely anymore, water can get really choppy the further from the land you are. It could just be inevitable, but I doubt that would be how Ash plans to end things. Either way, very excited to see the finale to this.

So, this might be me taking the video at face value, but this is how I interpret it: On the day that asriel confronted Kris by the lake, they made a deal with some a monster living in the lake, walking into it of their own volition. I know stories like these usually tell a tale where none of the fantastical stuff was real, but the line „do not attempt contact ever again. my kin may not be as kind to your plights.“ makes it sound like multiple creatures live in the lake. This is supported by Susie asking if she was wrong about monsters living in the lake in an earlier video. As another commenter explained, Utgarde Loki is a mythological trickster who tricked the gods. The name of this creature also changed to „the veil“ and „the liar“, among other things. It is clear that whatever this monster is, it creates illusions, one that Kris has been living in for quite some time now. A world where they are loved and have many friends. It also seems like Kris tried to make ‚friends’ of their own, trying to live in a delusion themselves; however, all of them were left with a feeling of emptiness, as they made them while disillusioned from reality and no matter how there tried, that acknowledgement of insanity would peel through and remind them that they aren’t loved. ‚The Lake‘ changed that. It made illusions real enough for Kris to get lost in them, and live a fake life of friendship. This didn’t last, as it still was nothing but an illusion, and cracks would show themselves. As the plants in the video say, people’s brains and houses started melting in the illusion. If you want to make a connection to Kris’s psychological state, I’d say they were in the lake for long enough to forget the people they knew, explaining the weird behavior and the X‘s that replaced some of the townsfolk. „Your entropy belongs to me.“ also sounds like Kris would eventually die and drown in the lake if they stayed in the illusion for long enough. Intentional or not, the lake creature fulfilled Kris‘ dream in exchange for his life. In this video however, Kris started seeking out the truth, making the illusion fall apart and allowing themselves to meet the powerful entity that trapped them here. In the end, Kris shows mercy. The lake creature is delighted that a being so weak in comparison to itself would show compassion not as a last resort, but because it truly enjoyed its creation, the illusion, and wants it to know they cherished that fleeting peace. The entity feels pride, and lets Kris go, telling them to never make contact again. Since Kris still has the choice to ‚make contact‘, I’m assuming they‘re still alive and just in the process of drowning. It also seems to me as though the entity Kris contacted was a neutral one, causing damage and being fine with Kris dying, but following Kris‘ wishes exactly and letting them go, once the entity is no longer needed, as the it too gained a lot of unique experience from this and is grateful. TL;DR: Kris got abandoned, made a deal with the lake entity, lived in an illusion, confronted his fears and left the lake for good. Also, apologies for all the spelling mistakes, I’m just spitballing here.

My theory is the entity that I will calling Onion, since in Deltarune Onion is in the lake but in this the entity is in the lake there is no Onion as of yet , is closer to a world turtle than some thing like a creator deity. It talks about how the world is a corpse and calls what it fights you as a part of the body. So to me it seems like Kris in this context, unlike Deltarune, is closer to Chara than Frisk anything as they close to Aseriel in age, and replacing the death of Chara with them being put back up for adoption. Also Aseriel in this is a definitely not a good person. Onion wanting to experience life or at least see as we know it had created a world on itself and when Kris came to them on the lake or possibly when Aseriel walked away is when Kris and Onion interacted in some sense, I it think was probably closer to seeing some wild animal get bitten by another and feeling a sense of empathy for it, and shaped the world it wanted to Kris’s wants but as you should know if you took biology the top layer of skin is dead so the world started to rot eventually causing the problems seen that was quickened by Kris doing what they did in 15 in which if it truly is one to one exposed the already rotten section to the open.

Does the boss taking the form of Jesus have something to do with Kris’s whole walking on water thing?

I wonder if the "first game ever played" was referring to the first time this was ever done? The first time one of these creatures provided a game world for lesser beings to play in. ACTUALLY WAIT CAT-DAD'S SECOND SPEECH PURRFECTLY LINES UP WITH THIS HOLD ON LEMME GO FIND IT. Here: Games are wonderful things. *Beautiful imaginary lines and rules that become our worlds for fleeting moments.* *But if you step over the lines, then the game is over,* not just for you but for everyone. Games are imaginary lines and rules that become your whole world. That's literally EXACTLY what's happening here! And Kris breaks the rules of the game by stepping outside the lines. It even says so in the fight. But Kris approaches the situation differently. They show the creature kindness. As if they could possibly hurt it.

The list of Rules in the Papyrus House episode told Kris not to wander in the space between transdimensional doors, and they then proceeded to go explicitly out of their way to do that. They broke the rules, and immediately everything become terrible - punishments were exchanged.

Damn, so it leaves off without an epilogue, a glimpse of things beyond this dream?

A hemidactylus frenatus is just a house gecko. The stuff asriel was saying to the other kris (?) was part of a previous video, so that somewhat confirms the suspicion of it having been asriel that said it. Honestly I’m at a loss on this one

This is going to sound beyond crazy and insane but I ABSOLUTELY REMEMBER DREAMING ABOUT WATCHING THIS VIDEO. Mostly around the 2:48 mark. I just vividly remember watching a scene like this and being weirded out, no i could not remember the channel name in my dream nor reading the comment section but i could remember this part and i dreamed it about 2 weeks ago. And just seeing it weirds me out- what is going on.

Notes: Texty Edition! (I'm writing these *as* I watch lol) -Starts sometime after the last one, you can tell due to the general coloration being the same as Roaring town and Myhouse Unused, along with Kris being in their Dark World form. -Kris is in the school, and enters the unused Classroom, then entering the Closet from the side door. --This leads to a Gaster Door where the Great Door was, Castle Town's music is pitched down. -Castle Town is in it's Chapter 1 Variation --It distinctly lacks the save point. -Kris heads into the Castle, which has a seemingly normal first floor. There's a distinct lack of any Darkeners, including Ralsei. --Second Floor rooms are Normal, Kris heads to a *third* floor. -Well, there is a hole here. When Kris interacts with it, there's dialogue that says "There is a hole at the Centre (not Center) of your Mind" --This may represent Kris' mental state. ---"Even with conviction, the body reels at the thought of descension", "The Body" is probably a confirmation that Kris is dead. It doesn't refer to Kris as "you," or as "Kris." just "The Body" ----The "Descension" refers to hopping down the hole, first thought: Pit of Hell. This leads of Kris' afterlife, but Kris is scared to go. They jump in. -This leads to a firey place, it's *much* lower quality compared to previous areas (as in the textures are like 144p lmao). Pit of Hell indeed. -Kris talks to a thing that resembles the wobbly things at the start of Chapter 1. It says "Everyone had left them. Though they knew it was not out of Hate or Malice" --This refers to the Dreemurrs leaving Kris, it was confirmed they were a foster kid, and the Dreemurrs moved away, leaving Kris behind, in 19_myhouse unused. ---It also confirms it took place in December (the month) -Kris talks to a second one. It talks about Kris feeling detatched from themselves. They were lonely, and deluded themselves. (This likely refers to the Dark Worlds?) -Third one: "in the Forsaken House (Dreemurr House?) a Hemidactylus Frenatus (fun fact: This is the scientific name for a House Gecko lmao) moulted it's skin. They found it and fashioned it into a Companion. An Abrasive young Ally" This refers to Susie. So, Susie is in fact, not real. -Fourth: "A pile of twigs was collected over 20 days. It took them 20 more to assemble it into the Perfect Friend" This refers to Noelle... Noelle *also* isn't real. -Fifth one mentions the majority of the other items that were in the closet in 11_school early. *all* of these items, were presumably used to make the other students. None of them are real what the fuck-ANYWAYS, none of them can feel love, so Kris needed assistance. -Sixth one mentions Kris calling into the Lake for help, and it did. --The Seventh one, however, mentions that it kept falling apart (see like... all the other videos in the series, especially 16_roaring town?) -In the next room, Kris proceeds to walk incredibly slow for a bit. The flashing background shows... *SOMETHING* man-shaped. I have no clue what it is. --At the end of said room, there are Hometown Trees. After Kris walks through them, the screen cuts to Black. -This leads to what seems to be the treeline above the Bunker, which Kris moves through, which then leads to Red Trees and Picnic Tables, not unlike the ones next to the lake. However, it's seen from Top-down. -There's black and white sprites of a Younger Kris and Asriel (Asriel using a blacked out version of his undertale Sprite, with a White outline), this is the argument seen on the TV in 07_Cyberfield TVRoom. You can *DEFINITELY* tell Asriel doesn't like Kris. --This *DOES* Disprove the theory of anyone dying in this incident at the Lake, Kris doesn't die here, neither does Asriel. ---Asriel doesn't see Kris as a Sibling. -After the Cutscene, the whited out Kris melts. Walking up to it reveals the 15_doorway background. -The Whited-Out Kris actually turns out to be the lake eldritch being that Kris had presumably made their friends with. Kris attempts to fight it, the piece of the Lake Being is not amused. --Is the Lake Person... Gaster? I think it's Gaster- -OH SHIT, FIRST BATTLE SEQUENCE WE'VE SEEN THIS WHOLE TIME. --Battle Menu is normal ---The... whatever the heck it is Kris is fighting, seems to be the "Christ the Redeemer" statue in Brazil, only the bottom half is covered in a red... something, with holes in it. -When checking it, it's called Útgarða-Loki, this is someone from Norse Mythology, specifically the ruler of the castle Útgarðr. They're also known as Skymir. **I will simply be referring to whatever this thing is as "Skymir" from this point on.** -The First Attack is an entirely whited-out Susie, it hops around and kicks a few times. -The Name when Fighting Skymir is simply "Weeping Scar Tissue" --The attack misses, and Skymir slowly rises from the ground. -Second attack is a similar Susie, but flies pop out of her, and she melts. Amalgamate-esque attack. Spooky. -The name when Sparing Skymir from the menu is "The Final Falsehood," but it's name in the dialogue is "The Veil" --Instead of saying "But it's name wasn't yellow" it says "But it's name was Unknowable..." -Third attack is Ralsei, doing an Asriel-esque attack. Simple as that. -The name changes *again* when sparing for a second time, going from "Glory of Coronation" (possibly referencing the Flower King shop being called "Coronation Day" in 16_roaring town??), to "The Nightmare" --The spare this time says "But it's thoughts lie beyond" -The attack this turn is similar to the previous one, but more difficult, with Ralsei dying. -Another Name Change, first being "The Spinning Wheel" and then "The Cycle" --The spare text says "but it seems Confused" -Full screen "Attack", there's a bunch of low quality eyes in the background, you don't take damage. -More names! "The Lie of the Land" and "The Liar" --The spare text simply says "But...", Skymir then ends the battle. -Skymir refers to Kris as "human" instead of by their name for most of the dialogue afterwards, Undertale parralells. Then again, this may refer to the player. --It also mentions not to attempt contact again (Presumably just asking Ash to not try to find more of this "Unused Content" perchance) -Skymir asks Kris if they liked what it made, afterwards. Kris/The Player says yes. -This will likely effect the Trout Population positively, seeing as presumably Skymir has stopped tormenting the pond. -Seeing as the Description says "Climax", Richardgibson8403 will not need to Scream, and this is likely not the end of this story. Aaaaand, that's all! I'm not gonna do a theory right now, because I genuinely do *not* know what the fuck just happened-

4:32 "Most people are not prone to animosity when confronted with an animal lesser than them" People refers to the boss fought here, the lesser animal is kris (as kris is weaker than it). The "Demon" did not show animosity to kris, as it created a fantasy for Kris to be happy, even if it broke apart. Animosity means "Hostility"

So Kris didn't die in that lake, they only died *inside* Awesome finale (I think it's a finale), the music especially. Though I kinda didn't understand anything, it was still very enjoyable. Gotta wait for the inevitable hour-long video essay someone will make on this arg I guess Edit: Too early to say but if the uploads actually stopped then this comment aged incredibly lol Edit 2: :/
