I don't consider Hendrix a guitar genius, but a genius who happened to play the guitar.

If I ever accomplish anything note worthy in life, I need this narrator to get the word out. Incredible video and presentation.

Hendrix was just fine with what he had

I grew up on HENDRIX MUSIC.

I think he's ONE of the greatest guitarists of all time. I wouldn't go as far as to say that he's THE GREATEST guitarist of all time... There are just too many guitarists, both past and present, to even come close to that determination. Jimi Hendrix is, in fact, one of the best. god himself is the only one who can point a finger and say that he or she is the undisputed best. Everything else is based on opinion. And everyone's opinion is different. That's why no one person can be considered the BEST, only ONE OF THE BEST.

Jeff Beck was using feedback before Jimi Hendrix. The Beatles invented the backward tape before Jimi Hendrix. “Rain”, “Tomorrow never Knows” being two examples. Jimi was a brilliant guitarist and a great showman, but by no means the greatest guitarist ever.

He did not usher in the eventual brick wall of who,s faster,harder,or louder,or other musical corruption,his presence would be a deterent,and people would experiment more,and create
