My father and I watch Jimmy Houston from the early '80s every weekend and now I'll watch him on KZread the past years. I love your approach to fishing and the videos you put out I truly hope you take him up on his offer to go largemouth bass fishing with Jimmy Houston in Oklahoma. I normally am happy with my life and who I am but that would be one day I would want to trade lives with you so I can fish with Jimmy. Rock on man.

I'm 47,I remember jimmy when he was so young..I still remember the first time I ever watched a fishing show where they were targeting catfish..It was an un- heard of thing,at that time,to waste film on lowly fish like a catfish...He was bank fishing a small pond,he was using hot dog chunks soaked in kool-aid..His guest was a man who was just up and coming,Bill Dance....I've been a subscriber to Jimmy Houston Outdoors,since the early 80's,back when you had to have a subscription to Field and Stream,in order to be a " subscriber"👍🤣

If you're out on the water with Jimmy Houston & you're not smiling the whole time. I'm going to check your pulse. Jimmy and his wife, there Deer Lucy, and her herd is so wholesome to watch. Two Legends fishing together catching a monster! Life doesn't get any better than that. Love Jimmy. Ty, you're a legend too, bud.

I can’t bet I’m 41 and I literally grew up watching Jimmy Huston outdoors EVERY weekend!! He’s the reason I even got into fishing! Glad to see he’s still alive and well!!

Good to see Jimmy again. I used to love watching the old timers like Virgil Ward, Homer Circle, Roland Martin and Bill Dance when I was a kid. Jimmy is the grandfather some of us wish we had. My grandfather was a WWII veteran and I never had one conversation with him in my 25 years. It wasn't until I recieved his medals upon my grandmothers death that our family found out he was a bronze star recipient. We don't know why still.

Jimmy has been my fishing hero every since I was small! I'd watch his show whenever I could and kiss all my fish that I could before releasing them. I still have the photo of him and I at the fishing expo back in Arkansas! What a fun time you must've had! I'm so jealous!

Well Ty there you are smashing them again that was a proper lump of a fish and man the do pull the wire. That was an interesting point of the subtle difference in the lures making all the difference in the catch rate . So, I grew up with Jimmy and Bill Dance,used to try there techniques in farm ponds in Oklahoma and caught many Bass in the 8 to 10 lb range, love to see that he is healthy and I know that you are watching over him, you seem like a good guy and a great fisherman, would love to see you on the Baja California Coast sometime eat some amazing food, experience the culture and catch a lot of fish, anyway keep making great videos and tell Jimmy I have always had great respect for him and he helped me become the fisherman that I am today,God bless you and your family
