you should make a video explaining pillow ball mounts and rubber mounts, because a lot of people new to coilovers they think driving is going to feel as oem suspension, and there is when these mounts play a key role when prioritizing performance or comfort it would help people to choose the right upper mounts according to their needs

i think it’s important to also recognize that many coilover companies offer multile tiers of coilovers. a great example of this is Tein. their entry level coilovers are cheap and get the job done on the street. but they also make some incredibly good motorsports oriented coilovers like the SRCs that are much more expensive but much better quality

Tbh, I think these videos spewing random facts picks up the grey areas where videos about "You want to buy this, here's what you need to know", leave out. I've been deciding on a set of Redshift BC coilovers vs KW for my own ride, and this video honestly helped in deciding what I think is right for me vs what might be somewhat overkill, since the most I do is aggressive spirited driving in the mountains, and on almost ever y freeway entrance and exit. So thank you.

For me on the daily driver, value end. Godspeed and maxspeedingrods t6 or t7 are best dollar for performance. Just look over them and make sure all the bolts/nuts are tight and you'll get just as many years as many $1000ish coils. Edit: I'm stating this opinion having owned 50+ cars but never one newer than 2002 other than a 2010 mazdaspeed 3 with godspeeds.

I've had numerous people having them lose out to Solo Werks. 3 examples below. Buddy A (MK& GTI) on Solo Werks: Says they're good for the price, but nothing special. They get bumpy and jumpy after some time, roughly 2 years or so in his experience. Tried Race Land but went right back to Solo Werks after about 4 months. Buddy B (Focus ST) on Race Land: Hated the Race Land, had issues with failure, purchased Solo Werks. Coworker (MK5 GTI) on Race Land: This dude bought the car with Race Lands installed and just shat on them. Not very useful because he just said they sucked with no useful feedback Now, that's just 3 accounts out of thousands of people who probably have had no issues with Raceland and love them. Guess you might have to give it a shot and find out.

Buying FAs will rob you your total suspension travel. You have to know what you're doing with setting up a set of 2 piece coilovers. While on the other hand, KW usually makes their shocks specific to the platform, such that they will retain a lot of the factory suspension travel, which is a key to your street comfort.

At only about 1400 - 1600$ considering swift upgrade and custom rates etc etc, Silvers has done me right. 😂 Also Silvers in Europe is TUV certified in most applications, like miatas from sps in Germany. Also Silvers come from Taiwan, most my boxes still had Taiwanese stamps n shit.

Why is Bilstein always snubbed in every coilover video on KZread? They have been in the game for awhile, but every time I've asked about their coilovers from other enthusiasts, they automatically claim they are stock suspension and ride height (not true as they offer -1.5 ride height). Then proceed to say that I should buy the brands listed on this video for performance. Yet Bilstein has different teirs and price points for coilovers as well from $600- $3000. So i bought a set of B14's to see if they were trash. They are for the most part track coilovers for the street. I've had others drive my car and they are impressed with the coilovers as well. Yet the brand seems to be ignored. Why?

also just because a brand is shilled by yourubers doesnt necessarily mean its good. case in point, BC. is it good enough for the street? probably, but no one who knows what they are doing would ever run that junk on a track car
