But anyway … name 3 bad games Joker has had in this season and how they were bad games because even when his numbers are low, he’s dominating or facilitating in different ways. Even his mid games put up fantasy stat lines for most players. Facts over feelings baby

Just to know if you get a good cut or come off a screen well this dude is gonna have that right where you want to shoot or go up to the rim has got to be something else. Very few players have his ability to have ball for a second that have it out of his hands before the defense can even react

    So I’m a football fan, much more than basketball. But I live in Denver and so I know this dude is a god. But as someone who doesn’t watch basketball all that much if ever, can someone explain if some of these are or are not traveling? Cause a few times it definitely looked like he was but I totally could be wrong.

  • @davidlee9411

    @davidlee9411

    In the NBA there are obvious travels where you see elementary kids doing and there are more subtle ones that are harder to catch and then there are ones where the ref allows the travel if the defender was overly aggressive and caused someone to take an extra step. Majority of NBA players who gets the ball a lot like Jokic travel once or twice a game where the refs don’t catch it. You would have to time stamp for us to know which one you’re curious about. An example of one in question is 1:21 you can see the crowd react in the back because Jokic drive looks weird. What happened is he delayed his last step which slowed down his momentum making the drive look awkward, but completely legal. Another great basketball player, Luka Doncic does the delayed step a lot of times to bait his defender to jumping earlier.

    @@giesejacob first step is a gather step which is a free step you get while transitioning from the dribble then after that they count the next two steps your only allowed while driving the ball. So really you get 3 when you’re coming off the dribbling. But if you’re cutting towards the basket for a layup then you would not get a gather step when you caught the ball and went for a layup. It would be two steps max
