20 Legendary Guitar Riffs

Музыка

So here are 20 of the most legendary, recognisable electric guitar riffs of all time. I probably should have done this years ago when I first started doing these kinds of videos, but better late than never. If I don't do it now, I never will. Feel free to suggest some more in the comments below!

    I actually considered editing them playing all at the same time on a loop but panned in different directions with reverb to get that guitar store sound.

    what setting do you use for the katana? i can get great cleans but it sounds terrible when i use my external distortion pedals.

  • @bloxsy_

    @bloxsy_

    Жыл бұрын

    Same here with external pedals. For that reason I tend to just use a foot switch to switch between clean and distorted channels on the amp. I use the clean channel for the clean parts with gain and then switch to the 'crunch' channel for the distorted parts, or switch on the booster. Depends really. There was also a firmware update last year for the Katana, I don't know if that's something you could do also. There was some new sounds and settings in the tone studio that you can use to help you shape the tone even more.

  • @zachary963

    @zachary963

    11 ай бұрын

    I’m a huge fan of clean solid state amps, and here’s my two cents on getting a good drive sound from external pedals (I don’t have a Katana, but I think it should still help). Solid states are gonna be brighter and more fizzy and sharper than tube amps. If you like a tearing drive sound that’s great, but otherwise you might need to tame your high end. You also gotta realize a lot of drive sounds are pushing a driven amp. So stacking boost/dirt/distortion pedals into an amp-style overdrive can really help.

  • @cobussy

    @cobussy

    11 ай бұрын

    @@zachary963 honestly i think it is just the katana. i got rid of that thing and got myself a tone master twin reverb, i did the exact same eq and the distortion sounds way better. it’s at low volume on 1 watt, yes the 2 speakers make a difference but the katana just sucked from the get go.
