Another great video. I find these particular letter combinations difficult to get my head round but this video will definitely help. I think for words beginning with E video, the French for squirrel (le ecureuil) is a must as I believe that is a real test for pronouncing French.

Hi Dylane, thank you so much for your very clear and great teaching. Your pronunciation course is the most helpful I have ever found! In this lesson, I got one query about the pronunciation of aiguille. I learned from your other pronunciation course (Lesson 25) that 'u' after 'g' is not pronounced. So I am a little confused here that 'u' is pronounced here. So, is there any specific rule of when 'u' is pronounced after 'g' and when not, like the word, guitare? Thanks you for your help.

Sandra that's a great catch! I just did some research and it looks like it's specific to GUILLE, so guitare like you said the U won't be pronounced. We don't have many words with GUILLE fortunately. I will add a note in the book about it. Thank you so much Sandra 😊

It's hard to see how you pronounce it with the spelling you used I am sorry. Maybe try google to listen to the word a few times and get the pronunciation right.
