I think tropical freeze is better personally but both are incredible games

I still play Picross 3D 2! I wish we would’ve gotten a physical release in the US.

Heroes of Ruin should be on this list and it's criminal that it isn't getting any love anywhere. Kid Icarus Uprising and HoR are my two favorite 3ds games, and it needs acknowledgement.

No smash or monster hunter?? Also ultra sun/moon over Oras is crazy to me

dream team was alright, but my favorite one was the remake of mario luigi superstar saga.. i love that game, its just hilarious.

The problem is that in my opinion both those versions just feel too similar to the original games. Gunstar heroes 3d feels brand new.

@@vagrantender *Ahem*… Did you play through the water temple in the n64 version of OoT? Did you look at the in-game models for the characters for the n64 versions? In majora’s mask, did you know that song of double time did not always let you skip to whatever time you want? You had to wait for an event to start. Did you know that if you ran out of time during a boss fight or lost (and subsequently ran out of time), you had to beat the entire temple again in order to rematch the boss? No changes… two words, “gyro aiming”. *mic drop*

@@vagrantender That’s a hilarious take. That’s like saying tank controls in re2 were good. It worked for what it was, but to say they were not clunky is to deny objective reality. They both (tank controls and OG OoT aiming) did not age well and needed updating.

@@sias.2569 hey say what you want but original re2 is better than re2 remake in every stretch. Especially since to afford those new controls they cut out a third of the game. So tank controls over third person controls anyday

somehow I barely remind smash bros for 3ds definitely it isnt one of most beloved smash games in its franchise but was necessary besides I agreed with other games such as shovel knight was a grateful experience even though its an indie game and with zelda yeah why not?? a link between worlds it has a lot of new concepts mixed up with nostalgia and yeah btw a link to the past its my favorite one xd your top its alright actually I have no so much complains but for me metroid should have been higher that other games to be honest

I was never violently unwell. it wasn't exactly bonelab, just a nice 3d effect. Am I the only one who loved it? Am I the only one who doesn't want an IPS display on my GBC/GBA? I have a dawning realisation that the answer might be yes.

Kid Icarus was great but controls on ground levels were really bad... With good controls should have been a masterpiece..

My top ten would be Xenoblade Chronicles Metroid Samus Returns Pokemon ORAS (Series) Zelda Majoras Mask (Series) Smash Bros Bravely Default (Both) Monster Hunter Stories DKCR 3D Radiant Historia Tales of the Abyss Fire Emblem Awakening (Series)

I know that people speak really highly of A Link Between Worlds, but I found it incredibly boring. I hated not feeling a sense of progression. You can go to any dungeon at any time as long you rent the right items. I really missed finding a new item in a dungeon and the unique puzzles related to that item then using that item to open up more of the world. It felt too open for me. Same reason why I have no interest in the two open world Zelda games (or any other open world game for that matter).

For me the best games are SMT IV, IV A and Sj, these are so much better than SMT V

The fact that they called the third New Super Mario Bros game New Super Mario Bros 2 makes me so angry.

SMT IV Apocalypse > SMT IV

Great list: but im convinced that anyone who puts Pokemon Sun and Moon on their "best of" list have not actually played them. They are far and away the worst mainline pokemon games ever released. The ruby and saphire remakes should take their spot on this list without question.

The only games i liked were captain toad and mario 3d world...which were both available on the home console...it was a crappy underpowered system that i never once used tge 3d feature on. Other companies are doing it better and cleaner in regards to handhelds these days. I'm 100% onboard the emulation train as of 2018. It's too easy and affordable now. Good luck big n.

@@Chronoflation The screens alone on the 3ds were atrocious. It was a cheap, overpriced, gimmick of a handheld with nothing more than rehashed titles being realeased for it. Oh boy another Mario kart and a direct port of the gamecube animal crossing "which it was". The whole thing was sad. It makes me sad just thinking about it. The 3ds was out for what? Over a decade? It had two horribly over priced games I enjoyed that looked and played better on their own home console. The rose colored glasses are strong on this one.

@@thomassmith4467 Right, cause the system didn't have a Fire Emblem renaissance, sequel Luigi's Mansion for the first time, revive Kid Icarus with all new game mechanics, etc etc. Like I said, you don't know anything about the console or the games on it. Sure, it had plenty of remakes, just like every other console. Even the PS1 got remakes like Chrono Trigger on it. And by the end of the life of the system a 2DS was less than $80. If that's overpriced then so is every console ever. Sure, the screens could've been better, but the 3D was great on the New 3DS, and if you don't want to explore the games on it even through emulation, then that's your loss. Heck, even had a ton of eshop game franchises exclusive to it. Some later got ports/remasters years down the line like Gunvolt, but others are still there like the Dillon's Rolling Western series. You sound incredibly ignorant when you say it only had rehashes. Enjoy avoiding games from a console just cause you thought it was overpriced and didn't bother looking for used or on sale options, cause there were clearly no cheaper ways to play the system 🙄

Hard disagree on #2, that’s far and away the most forgettable 3D Mario game and no way the overall #2 best game on the 3DS.

I think most people generally agree with how hyped up Zelda is. You have a different opinion than most people and that's totally fine, but that doesn't make it overrated.
