20.10 Synthesis and Reactions of Amides | Organic Chemistry
Chad provides a summary of the synthesis and reactions of amides. This includes synthesis from acid halides, anhydrides, and esters. The reactions include hydrolysis of amides, reduction to amines with LiAlH4, and dehydration to nitriles with SOCl2.
